  • situated in heart of the Provence verte in the entrance of the gorges du vallon sourn, this Bastide of around 260 square meters in a midle of a field of 20 000 square meters of Pines trees Oaks Cyprès and Olives trees will welcome you in a tastefully decorated familly house of 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms with 2 ensuites, open shape living room and American fully equipped kitchen. A barbecue plancha on the terrasse cover by an old Glycine will allow you to take Breakfast lunch and dinner under a cooling shade even in the heat of the summer days. The vast secured swimming pool on a terrasse below the house, envelopped by Oak trees,Cypres, Lauriers thyms and rosemaries will allow you to relax with the sound of the Cecadas. The Bastide is fully airconditionned by network and the pool is heated.

A gem in Provence

We absolutely adored this lovely house set in the beautiful countryside of Provence. It is perfectly located for excursions around Provence as well as for peaceful lazy days with family and friends by the pool or playing boule, and lovely evening meals on the terrace. Thank you Patrick and family for sharing this fantastic place, and to Raphael for the friendly welcoming and super smooth check-in and -out procedures.

Relaxing Holiday with Family

We had a wonderful stay. The House was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect. We felt very comfortable and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

The property is very nice and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and lovely pool. The surrounding area is very picturesque and Correns is pretty with a lovely Auberge. A quiet and relaxing spot from which to explore Provence. Patrick was very responsive to any questions. Would definitely recommend. If you arrive late in the evening make sure you have some provisions then shop at the Intermarche in Barjols the next day. If you’re prone to being bitten by mosquitoes take lots of repellent!

Perfect location

We had a maginificent stay. The house is spacious, clean and very practical. The swimming pool and the area are superb. The river is closeby and has a waterfall which the kids loved.

Chilled large property

Exceeded expectations. Beautiful rooms, seating and wonderful pool. Take care on the path from main road to house, it is steep and as host said, keep left.

Magnifique bastide au calme

Tres belle demeure, fonctionnelle et parfaitement loge au milieu des oliviers. Un parfait camp de base pour explorer les environs (Correns, Cotignac, les rivieres autour pour faire du kayak et meme jusqu’aux gorges du Verdon!). Tres bonne communication entre les proprietaires et la personnr sur place pour des reponses rapides. Chaudement recommande.

Beautiful house and very peaceful.

We really enjoyed our stay in this large home. House well equipped. The only negative is one toilet wasn’t working and the kitchen stove didn’t have the temperature on it and we used it we dialed the temperature knob and we had to guess what temperature to set it to. Other than that I will recommend this house and I will definitely rent it again.

Fantastic owner and premises

My daughter was marrying at the local chateau. This was an ideal premises for my family. Five bedrooms, very large kitchen, very private and loads of outside space. The pool area is ideal and outdoor eating space. Communication with the owner was above and beyond with him helping us out with a last minute issue.... he loaned me a piano. Yes a piano! First class - take towels for the pool, which is not a lot to ask.

Great stay

We stayed at the villa for 7 nights with 6 adults and 4 children and had a wonderful time. The beautiful villa itself is tucked away behind the trees, is clean, spacious enough for 10 people, and fully equipped. The pool is fantastic, but is deeper than 1.75 meters in all areas, which could be a drawback for smaller children. There's also plenty of shade by the pool! And not to forget is the lovely terrace, where you can relax all day long, as it's covered by a blue Wysteria pergola. Entertainment includes a pétanque court (balls are provided), table tennis, and a swing for children. There's also a beautiful olive-tree yard next to the house. The property can be closed off with a gate. The path to the top is a bit tricky, but manageable. Incidentally, the pizzeria near the house is closed in 2025; it's unclear whether it will reopen. Correns itself is small, but very authentic and charming, and is located about 4 km away. Closer by is the Vallee Sourne, where you can go stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing, swimming, and hiking. Tourist attractions abound, including vineyards, charming villages, lakes, rivers, and more. The sea is also just over an hour away. Finally, the hosts are fantastic! Friendly and quick to answer questions and resolve minor issues.

Traumvilla für den Familienurlaub

Wir haben die Bastide für unseren Juli-Urlaub mit der Familie, bestehend aus 6 Erwachsenen, zwei Kindern (4,5) und einem Hund für zwei Wochen bewohnt und es hat perfekt für uns gepasst. Das ganze Gelände ist mit Tor und Elektrozaun gesichert, sodass sich der Hund und die Kinder dort gefahrlos bewegen konnten. Die Einrichtung der Villa ist hochwertig und es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Unsere Mahlzeiten am grossen Tisch auf der Terrasse war genau das, was man sich so vorstellt. Grosser Fernseher ist zwar vorhanden, den haben wir aber nicht benutzt. Die Villa verfügt auch über eine Klimaanlage, welche wir aber nur genutzt haben, als die Temperaturen auf 37 Grad stiegen. Da hat sie hervorragend gearbeitet. Platz für 5-6 Autos ist auch vorhanden, allerdings ist die Zufahrt nach oben etwas kniffelig. Der Pool ist recht gross und abschliessbar - wichtig wegen der Kinder ! Die Umgebung der Villa ist traumhaft. In ca. 200m Entfernung befindet sich das Stauwehr des Argens. Auf der Vorderseite davon kann man mit Gummimatten oder Styroporbrettern den Wasserhang "herunterrodeln". Ein Mordsspass für die Kinder. Auf der Rückseite des Wehrs hat sich der Argens zu einem weit zurückreichenden See aufgestaut, auf dem man hervorragend mit dem Kanu oder SUP fahren kann. Schwimmen kann man dort natürlich auch, das Wasser ist glasklar und ein Traum. Auch die weitere Umgebung lädt zu vielerlei Unternehmungen ein, wir hatten keine Langeweile und hätten noch mehr unternehmen können.Traumhaft

Correns villa

We were staying in Correns to attend a wedding at the nearby Chateau Robernier. We were 2 couples with our adult children. The villa has a very well equipped kitchen and we enjoyed long evening meals spent on the patio off the kitchen. The villa has a lovely pool however, even though the villa is for 10 there are only 6 lounge chairs by the pool. Also you should note that pool towels are surprisingly not provided so we had to buy some. The manager of the property was very helpful and really went out of his way to make our visit enjoyable.

Fantastic house in a great location!

We had an extended stay in this lovely home over the winter months. The house was well suited for our family of 6, enough bedrooms for everyone to have their own space. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes, cutlery & cooking implements. The kids enjoyed playing in the olive grove, the terraces and trees provided many hiding places! The Vallon Sourn was a perfect place for walks or a trip down to the river. Willy (the groundskeeper) was always available if we had any questions, about the house or the area. Patrick (owner) was very helpful and always quick to reply. Highly recommended!

Superbe bastide au calme!

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette belle bastide , avec tout le confort qu’elle comporte, très bien équipée, pour le bonheur de toute la famille . La piscine est très agréable , car grande et à l’écart de la maison , parfait pour la sécurité des enfants. Elle n’est pas chauffée , du coup un peu fraîche en ce mois de septembre ! Merci beaucoup à Willy , très discret , réactif et très gentil . La maison est isolée au milieu d’oliviers à 5 minutes du charmant village de Correns, amateur de calme, cette maison est faite pour vous !!

Wonderful stay

We are two families and enjoyed our stay very much, lovely house (spacious and charming). Plenty of activities in the area, and property itself with plenty of privacy.

Very comfortable in extreme heatwave

The communication with the owner was excellent and the property was even better than we expected. The grounds keeper was always available for queries and cleaned the pool each morning which was appreciated. The house has very good air conditioning throughout which kept us comfortable in the higher than usual temperatures for end of June. We had a fantastic time and highly recommend this property.

Wonderful villa in idyllic position

We were a family group of 7 plus young baby.We had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa set in Provence countryside.The bedrooms are all big with king size comfortable beds.We never ran out of hot water and the bathrooms were lovely.The pool was huge and well maintained,plenty of sun beds and terraces for all times of the day. The property is secluded and quiet with Willy who looks after the property in easy reach and responsive to all questions. With boules,ping pong and bikes available there is plenty to do. This is one of the best properties we have stayed in it was hard to leave.Thank you so much Patrick and Willy we would return in a heart beat.
