“Great overnight stop after a late afternoon train from Folkestone. Plenty of free parking on site. Room are basic but perfectly adequate for a night stop on route to Southern France. Has a kettle and tea and coffee facilities. Nice seating area both inside and out for an evening drink. Had a meal in the restaurant which was delicious and well priced. “The host for this property was very welcoming and attentive. The views are spectacular and the breakfast was wonderful beautifully fresh eggs from the chickens you see around the property. I did expect it to be attached to a shopping centre and expected it to have a restaurant as these were in the hotels.com description and neither of these statements are true. But there is a shopping centre within 3 miles and by the sea there are a number of restaurants which are a short drive away .”
