"Nos hospedamos 5 personas (2 adultos mayores) en el bungalow River Dream House. Todo fue excelente. El personal muy amable. La experiencia de dormir enmedio de la jungla y de una forma muy segura fue sensacional. Los monos aulladores, en el momento, sí nos sobresaltaron. Sin embargo, ahora estamos recordando esa maravillosa experiencia, riéndonos. Las habitaciones muy limpias y amplias. Las camas muy cómodas. La cocina muy bien equipada. No olvides llevar todos tus alimentos, recuerda que estarás entre la jungla. La caminata de 10 minutos a la playa muy agradable. Si quieres vivir una experiencia en la jungla este es, sin duda, el lugar. "

"Estancia ideal. Cabañas inmersas en jardines naturales. No tienen ventanas para que escuches a los animales, pero si mosquitera. Esta muy bien unicado en la misma linea que el pueblo Tortuguero de manera que no tienes que tomar un bote y se va andando por la playa o un sendero paralelo en 15 minutos. Ninguno de estos hoteles tienen aire pero no nos hizo falta con la brisa nocturna."

"La propiedad está muy bonita y te permite disfrutar del contacto con la naturaleza. Está muy cerca del pueblo, pero sin que el agobio del tráfico, o la algarabía, se escuchen. El personal es atento y estuvo disponible para satisfacer todas las necesidades que tuviéramos. Un gran lugar para visitar en pareja."

"NO DOOR IN BATHROOM can be an issue. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, walking distance from the center of Puerto Viejo. However, we had an issue upon arrival. We booked a room for three adults, and the photos on Expedia clearly showed a bathroom with a door. Instead, they tried to give us a room with no door to the shower or toilet, and the beds had a direct view into the shower. This was never mentioned anywhere. This setup might work for a couple, but it’s very uncomfortable for three adults. Having to step OUT of the hotel room each time someone needs to use the shower or toilet is not the greatest. This was never mentioned anywhere. The receptionist said all rooms were like that and initially only offered a biombo (folding screen) for privacy. We felt misled and asked to cancel our 2-night reservation. Only then did the receptionist contact the owner and offer us a different room with a door into the toilet area, plus another biombo for the shower area. This solution worked, and after that our stay was pleasant. We simply showered with the bathroom light off. The receptionist was very kind and even brought us three Coca-Colas as a gesture. Breakfast was good, with hot and cold options. The second morning’s buffet was a bit disorganized (we had to ask for plates, silverware, and glasses), but the staff was helpful. Overall, once the room issue was resolved, we enjoyed our stay. "
