“Very clean room. Rented a small boat from them and took our dogs with us; they loved being on a boat! Beautiful views of the water and assateague lighthouse right from the property, especially at sunset. We paid for the water taxi to take us to a secluded beach for a few hours. The dogs got to run in the sand, and we saw the wild horses on the same shore as us maybe 100 yards away! The staff was very attentive.”

“Overall great experience and would stay again. Proximity to beach was great. Games, Puzzles, and DVD collection was a fun bonus for the kids. A few minor improvements could put this place over the top. Because they’re older, some doors don’t close fully and none of them lock. Some extension cords with charging stations in the bedrooms would be a nice touch. The lower level does get warmer than the upper level but the fans help make it manageable. We did appreciate the number of hooks available...

“It was the first time to St. Charles and we had a great time. The property was fantastic. Very clean and charming. It was perfect for a weekend. Next time, I need to remember to bring shampoo. It wasn't super clear what parking was on the property. Again, it was dark, and I found a spot that worked great. The place was perfect for a single guy wanting to explore the Chincoteague Wildlife Refuge. ”

“The Brass Crab is a fantastic house for a family vacation. While not overly large, it comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 young children. The kitchen was appropriately stocked and there were plenty of baby items so you don’t have to pack your own. The house was extremely clean. While we didn’t use the backyard, it is a nice large flat yard to play outside. The host was very friendly and helpful with answering questions about the area. Definitely recommended. ”
