“This was, without question, the worst 5-star hotel I have ever stayed in. I have travelled extensively across Europe, the Americas, and Asia for both work and leisure, and this experience fell far below any reasonable 5-star standard especially disappointing as it was our honeymoon.
From the start, the experience was disorganised. We had emailed the hotel in advance with our arrival time, yet upon arrival we were informed we were booked on a later boat, creating immediate confusion and stress....

No Beach: The beach in front of the hotel no longer exists; it has been completely washed away by the sea. Instead of sand, you will find a long line of sandbags along the coast trying to stop the erosion.
Dead Coral Reef: The reef right in front is completely dead. It’s just coral skeletons with very few fish. If you read reviews saying the reef is beautiful, it’s likely from people...
“Great location right above the beach and only minutes walk to shops, cafes and restaurants. Room very clean, free amenities great, bed very comfortable.”
