“I was pleased with the property and hosts. The property is quiet and comfortable. The porch overlooking the river is fantastic. The problem came during and after check out. Our host said I was only registered for 1 adult 2 kids. I had reservations for 5 adults (2weee teens). “We communicated with the host, Alan, that we would be a late arrival. He was very pleasant to deal with and assured us that he would be there to check us in and show us the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed and it was very comfortable. I enjoyed seeing deer on the property and listening to the birds. “This property is very accurate from the photos, had a very easy check in process, and was very warm (which is crucial for this last stretch of winter). The living room was a cozy spot to watch some of our favorite movies, as well as a nice kitchen to drink coffee in and talk about the day. “Great little cabin close to the activity of Acadia and bustle of Bar Harbor, but seemingly miles away from anywhere! Two bedrooms were perfect for my husband and I and our adult son. Bed were comfy, kitchen well stocked and the living/dining area nice for just unwinding at the end of the day. There is a fire pit area too that looked good for relaxing in the evening, but we weren’t there long enough to take advantage of it. ”
