“There were no in-room amenities beyond tea, coffee, and a kettle. As competitive bodybuilders, a microwave is essential, and I should have checked beforehand. Underground parking was full, so we parked in the outdoor lot, which had poor lighting in the rain, and mud tracked into the room on arrival. The air conditioning needs servicing—the filter was filthy, making it inefficient. The pillows were hard like straw, and the mattress lacked a topper. “What a lovely art deco maintained hotel! All fitted out in appropriate style. We didn't eat there, but the food smelled terrific when we arrived in the late evening. Very friendly staff and a most comfortable room. Loved the residents' sitting/dining room upstairs.”

“Absolutely beautiful location, 5 minutes outside Dorrigo. A very nice, bright, spacious and clean room with a sliding door overlooking a deer enclosure and the scenic mountains. Gabby the operator was lovely, warm and welcoming. Highly, highly recommended!”
