Only downside was the lack of a cooked breakfast which is not available. There isn’t a table in the room so we had to sit on the single chair and blanket box to eat the cereals provided, not ideal when you want to fortify yourself for the SWCP walk. They also didn’t service the room which meant we had to wash the cereal bowls and cups in the bathroom sink...

Cosy and perfect for two people, it has great access to the south of Cornwall but also serves as a good base to go and explore the rest of Cornwall if you're willing to drive. “An amazing hidden Gem. if you want quirky glamping, this is the place for you. Lizzie and Mike are fantastic hosts, made us feel more than welcome. They went above amd beyond. The railway sleeper had everything we needed, kitted out kitchen, communal wash and showers. If you want a peaceful break and dont mind sharing your outside space with Cockerell and beautiful bantams, I would highly recommend. Local village has everything you need and is a 1.5 mile walk.”

“The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...
