Amazing location at the beach and next to the forest. We saw owls, ravens, deer and many other birds. A relaxing and cozy vibe here!

Everything about the cottage was wonderful. The location was right next to the beach and Rathtrevor Park - wonderful to walk the trails in the morning and evening. Close to all amenities in Parksville, as well! Great location to stay for a few days of relaxation.

We loved our stay in this cosy cottage. Excellent location close to the beach. The cottage is very clean and all the appliances including heating and hot water worked perfectly. Communication with the host fast and efficient.

Such a wonderful way to spend a week on the island! The cottage was perfect for us. I enjoyed coffee while listening to the waves break every morning. Very close to the walking path along the beach and close to town but a very quiet setting. We appreciated the amenities and found all that we needed contained within. Great place for a couple or solo traveler.

Our goal was to relax in a quiet comfortable accommodation. This met all of our expectations. Bed very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen.Great access to ocean & beach. Wildlife in garden included rabbits,deer with fawn, quail family with 12 chicks, garter snakes & hummingbirds.Loved the privacy.We,d love this place to be our retirement home. Thank you.

Little Piece of Paradise

This charming, clean, well maintained and comfortable cottage is the perfect home base for a Parksville area getaway. It is tucked back in a calm and quiet corner of a waterfront property and is only steps from the water. Ideal location with easy access to the many area attractions, but you’ll want to spend plenty of time right at the cottage!

Close to the beach and extremely quiet. It is like a home away from home. Nice cozy ambience. It was a cottage well equiped with all the basic necessities including good quality shampoos and handsoaps.

Beauty at the Beach

This little cottage was just so sweet we loved every moment of our time there. The layout was great, and sitting beachside with my coffee in the morning was bliss, being steps from Rathtrevor was the best!!!

Parksville Cottage near the sea.

Very nice cozy quiet cottage. Can’t beat the location! Beautiful beach and walking trails Was a bit disappointed on initial check in from what I had expected. As per the photos we felt the cottage was “on” the water, but rather is tucked in the back corner of the main property. Still very beautiful and private and would recommend as well as stay again.

Quaint cottage for two. Perfect location; 20 second walk to the beach plus 3 chairs at the beach overelooking the beach and oceanI would suggest repair of the platform at the beach as it is rotting plus secure the boards on the coffee table box in the TV room as they are potential safety hazzards; otherwise I would have given 5 stars

Cozy

Perfect cabin for a cozy winter getaway. The gas fireplace was great. We had everything we needed. We didn’t realize this was a small cabin on the back of the lot and not right on the ocean. The pictures are deceiving. There is a small view from the cabin but it’s not steps away as the picture let’s on. Thankfully no one was home in the main house so we still felt we had privacy. Overall a great stay.
