Chelley and her charming cottage are fabulous! Chelley is charming, her property, including her cottage is comfortable and the perfect size. My dear mom had a stroke and was airlifted to Redding, then transferred to a rehab center in Anderson. I needed to be close and wanted the opportunity to cook. This cottage in Cottonwood provided everything I needed! I highly recommend Chelley’s cottage, whatever your reason for time away, her cottage will treat you right!!!

This lovely little cottage was a perfect waypoint on our drive back up north from CA. Chelley was very responsive and the accommodations were as advertised. The bed was too squishy for my bad back, but everyone likes a diff mattress! Thanks for a very needed stay!

Chelly is a marvelous hostess. Attentive without being intrusive. Totally fit the needs of my situation.Stove, refrigerator and microwave are full size.Bed is comfortable.There is a stool to assist getting into bed or use of microwave if one is short. It was very pleasant weather during my stay, however, if it had been too cold or too hot there is a pellet stove and air conditioning as needed. My first choice when in the area; this is the place to stay.If you have more than two adults or children it may not be a good fit.

PERFECT place to stay overnight during our long drive. Our pup loved the large fully fenced yard and the communication with the manager was prompt and top notch. If/when we do this trip again we'll look this place up.

Incredibly clean and lovely stay! The cottage was exactly as described and was such a nice retreat after a long day of driving (and the cool AC was incredibly welcoming in the 100 degree weather). Communication with the hosts was very straight forward and included sweet local recommendations inside the unit, which we unfortunately did not get to enjoy. We had our 1 year old with us who was very happy crawling around the comfy carpeted floor in the living room. We were also so grateful that the unit was dog-friendly, although we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have liked to, given it was a quick stop-over.

One of the doors didn't even lock, it was 110°+ and the ac onlynworked in the bedroom. The rest of the house was UNBEARABLE. There was dust and hair under the bed and couch, the tub was gross and the shower lining was moldy. Don't waste your money. Also, after the fact the owner is trying to get a pet fee from us, which was not stated at the time I paid for our reservation.

Awesome place!! 100% recommend

We had a wonderful stay here with Chelley. The place was so clean and perfect for what we needed. Honestly it was better than what we could have imagined. Chelley was very kind and welcoming, and the neighborhood was just the cherry on top! We walked by horses, cows, and sheep just down the street. Would definitely recommend staying here.

1-Night Stay for Business was Great

The apartment is in a detached building. It was perfect for a business traveler alone. The host was easy to contact and I found the ice already frozen in the freezer to be a welcome sight on this day that reached 98 F!

Cottonwood Stopover

We were heading up North and our stay in Cottonwood worked out very well. We had a load of camping gear and the property felt very secure which was a plus. Nice kitchen set up and just a short way off the freeway.
