The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. We had plenty of clean towels and wash clothes. The beds were comfortable. My older children loved the pool table. I LOVED the country atmosphere. I felt safe. The host, Sandra, is the best!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay!!! The home is even more beautiful in person. Yes, it’s a but further out than some may want to be but that is what we loved about it (and this is fully disclosed in the listing). The kids had plenty of room to run around and the pond was so peaceful, we sat out there for a few hours. The home had everything we needed and more, including two friendly goats. I would recommend this home and will return if I’m ever in the area.

Wedding weekend north of NoLa

We were in town for a family wedding. The location was central to family events and the wedding venue. The beds were comfortable, the house well stocked, and the hostess was amazing! And her two goats entertained us. Definitely on our stay there again list.

Covington Country House

Location of property is secluded, which is just what we like. We are interested in relaxing in the quiet of the country and travelling to our destinations as we like only to return to the quiet country setting. This is how we live at home in Oklahoma, so we have the same likes when travelling on vacation. House had plenty of room and space to stretch out and relax, AC was great and the beds were comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to any Vrbo guest. No fear to Vrbo here!!

Wonderful place

A friend and I stayed here for six days during Mardi Gras. The place is 1.25 hours from uptown New Orleans, but I am familiar with the area so locating it was not hard. Sandra gave specific details that enabled us to easily find it. Parking was safe and easy on a long gravel driveway. The house was large enough for me to store my bike in the entrance way at the foot of the stairs. The living area was very clean and attractive. Sandra had more amenities than any rental I have ever seen. She even had cotton balls which I needed as my supply was depleted! It was a very enjoyable and relaxing place to return to after long days at the parades. Thank you so very much for providing such a lovely rental.

Fantastic Property and Host

This was the perfect location for our family and pets. My pups loved the path around the pond. The property was lovely and peaceful. The home was spacious and clean, with all necessary amenities. The location was ideal for our travels to Covington, Mandeville, and New Orleans. Sandra is a wonderful host! We’d love to come back! Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.

Nice house outside Covington

We had a very nice stay on this secluded property near Covington. The house was clean and nicely furnished. We only cooked breakfast each morning but the kitchen was we equipped. The property was a little further out from Covington than I envisioned but the location proved to be a good central location for north shore locations we needed to visit.

Quite retreat

The property is on acres of land, surrounded by trees and a pond with fish and turtles , which is very peaceful and relaxing. The owners leave food for the fish and turtles and you are welcome to feed them. The house itself is very well stocked with anything you need for cooking, coffee, tea and the appliances are very easy to use. It was very easy to communicate with the owners and any issues that arise were very quickly fixed. The beds are super comfortable and after long days in the “Big Easy” the were very welcoming. Thanks for the hospitality shown and will recommend your home to friends
