So old and dirty!
Our stay at this property was very disappointing! The house was very old inside. The carpet in the loungeroom and bedrooms smelled disgusting and mouldy! We couldn't even sit down in the lounge room to watch a movie on one of the rainy nights because of the smell of the carpet! There were spider webs in every corner of every room from ground to ceiling - it was absolutely awful! My family and I actually had to clean the place for our 10 day stay and just could not believe that someone had supposedly cleaned the house only a week ago after other guests had left.
The kitchen pantry had food left over where most stated an expiry date of 2021. The freezer was half full of frozen food. The washing machine absolutely reeked and was mouldy and there was no clothes line provided anyway.
One key was provided which was very inconvenient.
The furniture at the property was also very disappointing. It was all very old, smelly and covered in dust. The couches in the lounge room were the worst of them all. You could not sit on them because of the smell let alone walk paast them! It was horrible!!
I do not recommend this place one bit. In fact I regret staying there and paying to stay there.
The convenience of being one street away from the shops street of Cowes was not worth the stay!
