  • Arranged over three floors this stylish and spacious town house is dog friendly and has been thoughtfully set up by the current owners to comfortably sleep eight guests across its three bedrooms and snug.



    As you enter the house on the ground floor you are welcomed in with a beautifully tiled floor hallway, the snug room is at the front of the property on your left, with a double sofa bed. Leading on, passing the stairs is the main central living space which is bright and open plan and features a large bespoke corner sofa and Smart TV the room naturally flows onto an impressive and beautifully bright kitchen/diner with feature skylight & tri-fold doors that continue out to the multi-tiered, enclosed rear garden, offering a paved patio area to its bottom and middle tiers, and a further small grassed area to the top tier. Outside electric points garden furniture and festoon lighting mean guests can utilise and enjoy the outside social space during the day and evenings.



    On the first floor you’ll find a twin bedroom whilst across the hall is a modern shower room and a further separate bathroom, both of which feature rainfall showers.



    The second floor has two more bedrooms. one set up as a twin and the other as a super king.

    If given good notice once booked we can gladly set up the beds as doubles or twins to accommodate your booking, but unless otherwise stated the configuration will be 2 twin 1 super king and a sofa bed.

    LOCATION:



    Home to the oldest and biggest sailing Regatta in the world, Cowes is the number one destination for sailors during the Summer months.

    Cowes also boasts a rich wealth of history and culture with its ‘twin’ East Cowes just across the Medina estuary by chain ferry.

    Stroll through the vibrant town and enjoy independent shops and well-known yachting clothing stores, sit at a pavement café or have a restaurant lunch and people watch or enjoy a glass of something cold and watch the sun go down over the Solent before having dinner at some excellent pubs and restaurants.

    Take yourself across the water to East Cowes via the chain ferry and enjoy a slice of great British history at Osborne; Queen Victoria’s seaside residence. Stroll along her beach and enjoy the walled garden and Swiss Cottage. It’s a wonderful spot for families or just to wander through on your own. There are cultural museums, events and galleries to enjoy on both sides of the Medina and you’ll notice the influence of Prince Albert’s ornate designs in the architecture of many houses and buildings.

    Shower room: double width shower cubicle with rainfall shower and handheld shower attachment, mirror with shaving point, wash basin with vanity unit beneath, low level w.c., heated towel rail

    Bathroom: bath with rainfall shower and handheld shower attachment over, mirror with shaving point, pedestal wash basin, low level w.c., heated towel rail.



    SECOND FLOOR

    Bedroom 2: twin room, 2 x 3ft single beds (can be made into a super king on request) bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers, hanging rail.

    Bedroom 3: super king bed (can be made into a twin room on request) bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers, hanging rail.



    OUTSIDE

    enclosed, multi-tiered, rear garden, paved patio area to the bottom and middle tiers, small grassed area to the top with exterior garden furniture, outside electric points and festoon lighting.



    PARKING :There is free on street parking in York Street and surrounding roads. There is also the Brunswick Road, Long Stay car park only a 2-minute walk away, charges apply.

    There is no electric car charger on site and guests are prohibited from using the mains electric in the property to charge a car.



    This property can accept a maximum of 1 pet(s). The charge is £35 per pet, per week and we kindly ask that you bring your own bedding for your pet(s). Please ensure that you correctly add your pet(s) when making your booking, so this additional cost is included. If it becomes apparent that you have brought a pet(s) with you but did not advise us, we will contact you to request payment separately.



    This property offers a double sofa bed, If you would like us to supply linen for its use during your stay, this can be provided at an additional cost of £35, per stay. Please do make us aware at the time of booking / in advance of your stay if you require this service, so we can arrange to take payment and have the linen made available.







    IMPORTANT INFORMATION:



    The Island Holiday Company are responsible for the full management of this property and should you need to contact us during your stay we are available between 9-5 Monday to Friday, We also operate an out of hours emergency service on the weekends - please refer to your property brochure left inside the property, for further information and contact details.



    No stag or hen parties are permitted at any of our properties.



    There is a strict no smoking/vaping policy, inside all our properties.



    Linens and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels and cot linen as necessary.



    For security purposes a surveillance camera (Ring doorbell) is in 24-hour operation, monitoring and viewing across the front of the property.



    f you give us good notice we can set up the beds as doubles or twins but unless otherwise stated the configuration will be 2 twin 1 double and a sofa bed.



    Please be respectful of the property and the neighbours during your stay; leaving the property as you found it on your arrival



    A breach of the above rules and guidelines could mean forfeiture of the Security Deposit.

Enjoyed our stay at York Street

We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at York Street. This was a return visit as the house is perfectly located for Shepherds Marina. The house is spotless and has a lovely garden/ outdoor seating. With 2 good sized clean and modern bathrooms and 3 bedrooms plus sofa bed in living room makes it perfect for a crew of 6-8. The Island Holiday Company made booking and check-in very easy. We’ll be back next year!

Well presented, well equipped, with decent outside space to boot!

We used as a crew house so the fact the rooms can be set up as three twins was ideal. Some padding on the low ceiling over the stairs! Forgot to duck a couple of times.

Really enjoy staying in this lovely 3 storey house, It has been carefully renovated to a high standard and very clean. The kitchen is modern and full of everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are spacious with lovely shutters which helps on hot days. Myself, husband, 3 boys, mother and dog all enjoyed a weeks holiday here. Its within walking distance of Cowes and has a lovely garden with bbq and garden furniture and evening lights. Really relaxing. ( well maybe without kids! 😄)

Really enjoy staying in this lovely 3 storey house, It has been carefully renovated to a high standard and very clean. The kitchen is modern and full of everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are spacious with lovely shutters which helps on hot days. Myself, husband, 3 boys, mother and dog all enjoyed a weeks holiday here. Its within walking distance of Cowes and has a lovely garden with bbq and garden furniture and evening lights. Really relaxing. ( well maybe without kids! 😄)
