  • Relax and enjoy our character home on a quiet no through street with a private deck that overlooks Cowichan Bay and Mount Tzouhalem. Lounge on the patio while watching boats in the bay and herons and eagles overhead. The quaint village of Cowichan Bay is just a 5 minute walk down the hill. It offers artisan shops, fresh baked goods and a variety of excellent restaurants. Hiking, biking, water activities, golf, vineyards and local farms are all at your doorstep.

Amazing views

We loved our stay and would definitely go back. Beautiful, spacious kitchen, living, and dining area, plus comfortable beds and an unbeatable view. All the amenities we needed for a great stay.

Great character house for a relaxing stay.

We enjoyed our weekend stay in Cowichan Bay. The only request would be a second bathroom. The location is convenient, the view was fabulous.

Lovely Cow Bay Stay

Thanks so much for a wonderful stay Aaron. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood . It’s is charming and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.We would definitely book this place again if we return to Cowichan Bay!

Fabulous Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and cosy and the back deck and its views were everything!! It was a nice touch that the owners gave us a gift card for a delicious bakery nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

Charming getaway

We loved: the sweet garden beyond the arch and leading up to the entrance, warm and fun colours and decor, comfortable beds, cozy fireplace for rainy weather, well-stocked kitchen, the stunning view. Aaron is great. A lovely, peaceful home away from home. You will want to stay longer!

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Cowichan Bay Hideaway. It was a rainy weekend but made extra cozy with the fireplace. The space has a lot of charm and character for an older home. The ocean views are stunning. The surrounding trees were full of song birds which we could see up close with the telescope along with the many boats in the harbor. The kitchen is fully stocked and the linen closet too. If you are wanting to walk into Cowichan Bay it is about 10 min downhill into the village along quiet, residential streets. We felt safe and enjoyed the privacy of the neighborhod. We'd love to stay again!

Great little cottage

We stayed with a group of 5 and it was absolutely wonderful! I would suggest if you are looking for things to do drive to shawnigan lake and go for a swim! There is not much to do in the little town where to cottage is located. But lots close by via car!

Beautiful location, lovely house with a great view of the water right on the balcony. 5 stars!

We were a group of 4, and really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home with a great view by the water and a ton of spots to check out nearby. Good views, good food, and good people. Thank you to the host, Aaron who was very helpful and easy to communicate with. Fishing, golfing, boating, and a ton of exploring and activities nearby. Place was clean, and had everything we needed and more. Thanks again for having us Aaron, much appreciated! 🙏
