“We had a very enjoyable stay at the Talisker Lodge. We stayed over the Christmas holiday. It felt so cosy… we enjoyed the log burner & loved how it was located in the woods. We saw lots of woodland wildlife inc a red squirrel & woodpeckers. The property encourages you to feed the wildlife. We arrived to a bucket of nuts & a bag of fat balls. We went out to buy more fatballs as the birds soon got through them. We really enjoyed watching all the birds & the squirrel that came. We’d love to return...

“Property itself was clean and well equipped. Beds were not king size and the pull out bed in the third room was a camp bed so you could not move in the room at all - very disappointing . The brochure states parking for two cars with additional on road . There is only one allocated parking spot and the two free spaces are on a first come basis. I know it was in a cul de sac but it was still on the road .”
