    Step into The Lodge, a spacious alpine retreat in the heart of Crackenback Resort, where modern comfort meets rugged mountain charm. Framed by panoramic views of the Main Range and ideally positioned between Thredbo and Perisher, this thoughtfully designed two-bedroom home is perfect for couples, families, or friends seeking a well-equipped base for year-round adventure.

    From the moment you arrive, you’ll notice how every detail in The Lodge is curated for comfort. The open-plan living space is warm and inviting, with an L-shaped lounge and smart TV (plus Telstra TV) for relaxing after a day in the mountains. Underfloor heating, split system air-conditioning, and double-glazed windows ensure the temperature is just right, whether it’s snowing outside or the summer sun is shining.

    The fully equipped kitchen will please home chefs and coffee lovers alike, with high-end appliances and a Jura coffee machine setting the tone for a perfect morning. Enjoy relaxed meals at the dining table for six, and take your time, there’s no rush here.

    The accommodation includes a king-bedded master and a second bedroom with two single beds, both fitted with built-in wardrobes and smart TVs. A gaming emulation console in the second bedroom offers hours of fun for younger guests. The modern bathroom features a bathtub ideal for a post-ski soak, and there’s also a European laundry for added convenience.

    With free Wi-Fi, smart TVs in every room, and all linen provided, The Lodge makes sure you’re covered on all fronts, comfort, style, and practicality.

    During your stay, you`ll have free access to a host of seasonal resort activities, including:

    Important Information:

    Private Accommodation: Please note, The Lodge is privately managed, and therefore does not offer hotel-style services like on-site housekeeping or replenishments of items such as pillows, blankets, or TVs. For full service amenities, we recommend booking a hotel.

    Check-In Time: Check-in is after 4pm, and unfortunately, we cannot accommodate early arrivals. If this is unsuitable, we kindly ask you to consider alternative accommodation.

    Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, even for domestic holidays. Travel insurance can cover a range of issues, including trip cancellations, lost luggage, medical expenses, and unforeseen disruptions like COVID-19 amendments.

    RENTAL AGREEMENT

    1. Agreement
    You must agree to these terms before making a booking.
    This Rental Agreement (Agreement) becomes binding upon booking.
    Breach of the conditions within this Agreement is grounds for termination of the booking and the Rental Party will be required to vacate the Property immediately.

    2. Booking
    The “Booking” is a record of information and contains guest details, booking dates, costs, and other information. The Booking may be stored by a third-party online travel agency (OTA) or by Alpine Property Management Pty Ltd (Property Manager).
    Bookings are made through an OTA, such as Airbnb, or directly through the Property Manager via telephone, email, or website.

    3. Parties
    This Agreement is made between:
    the person(s) making the Booking, hereafter referred to as “Guest”, and the Home Owner hereafter referred to as “Host”.
    The “Rental Party” is comprised of the Guest and the persons indicated in the Booking (Members). Only those specified in the Booking are considered Members of the Rental Party, all other persons are considered “Unauthorised Guests”.
    The Guest is responsible for ensuring that every Member of the Rental Party is recorded in the Booking.
    Unauthorised Guests are not permitted to stay overnight or sleep at the property.
    The total amount of people in the Rental Party will not exceed that outlined in the Booking.
    The Guest agrees to be solely responsible for their own actions and any actions of Members of the Rental Party.

    4. Property Manager
    The Host receives some assistance from a Property Manager for some elements of the Booking, such as cleaning and communication with the Rental Party. All enquiries regarding the property should be directed to the Property Manager `Alpine Property Management`.

    5. Property
    The property address is provided in the Booking (the “Property”).
    For the purposes of this Agreement, the Property includes the building itself, along with all fixtures and furnishings within the building or on the property grounds.

    6. Rental Period
    The check-in and check-out days are those indicated in the Booking.
    The “Rental Period” begins at 4:00PM on the check-in day and ends at 10:00AM on the check-out day of the Booking.

    7. Costs
    The nightly rate, other fees and charges, and security deposit are set out in the Booking.

    8. Security Deposit
    A security deposit of $500 is required for all bookings.

    This deposit is processed as a pre-authorisation (hold) on the Guest’s nominated credit card on the day of arrival. This is not a charge and no funds are withdrawn at that time.

    The pre-authorisation will be released following departure, provided that no damage, additional cleaning, missing items, or other breaches of this Agreement are identified during post-stay inspection.

    The Guest is responsible for ensuring that sufficient available funds are present on the nominated credit card at the time of pre-authorisation. Failure to provide a valid pre-authorisation may result in cancellation of the Booking or denial of access to the Property.

    Where costs are incurred due to damage, additional cleaning, or breach of this Agreement, the Host reserves the right to claim against the security deposit and/or charge the Guest for any additional amounts exceeding the deposit.

    9. Termination
    The Rental Party will vacate the premises at the expiration time of the Rental Period.
    The Host and Property Manager has the right to inspect the premises at any time. Should the Rental Party violate any of the terms of this Agreement, the Booking will be terminated immediately in accordance with the law. The Rental Party waives all rights to process if they fail to vacate the premises upon termination of the Booking.

    10. Damage and Cleaning
    The Rental Party will use the premises only in a careful and lawful manner.
    The Rental Party will leave the premises in clean and undamaged condition.
    The Guest will immediately notify the Property Manager of any damage to the property.
    The Guest will pay for any cleaning required after their stay and for any repairs for damage occurring to the Property during the Rental Period.
    The Guest agrees that the Host will be entitled to remuneration for any costs associated with cleaning or repairs for damage caused by the Rental Party without constraint.

    11. Rubbish
    The Rental Party will appropriately dispose of all waste generated during the Rental Period as directed in the Booking

    12. Pets
    No animals or pets of any kind will be brought onto the Property.

    13. Parking
    Parking is only allowed as directed in the Booking.

    14. Subletting
    The Property will not be sublet.

    15. Quiet Enjoyment
    The Rental Party will behave in a civilised manner and respect the rights of the surrounding property owners and/or guests.
    The Rental Party will not create noise or disturbances likely to disturb or annoy the surrounding property owners and/or guests.
    Quiet hours are between 9PM and 8AM every day.

    16. Emergency
    For medical or fire emergency dial 000, for all other issues contact the Property Manager.

    17. Smoking
    Smoking is not allowed inside the Property.
    All cigarette butts and ash will be disposed of in an appropriate receptacle.

    18. Liability
    Members of the Rental Party hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Host and Property Manager against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from use of the Property regardless of the nature of the accident, injury or loss.
    Members of the Rental Party expressly recognise that any insurance for property damage or loss which the Host and/or Property Manager may maintain on the Property does not cover the personal property of Members of the Rental Party or other Unauthorised Guests.
    Members of the Rental Party are advised to purchase their own insurance.

    19. Rental Deposit
    The Host can retain any costs associated with cleaning or damage from the Rental Deposit at their discretion.

    20. Attorney’s Fees
    The Guest agrees to pay all reasonable costs, attorney`s fees and expenses that are made or incurred by the Host enforcing this agreement.

    21. Use of Property
    The Rental Party expressly acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement is for transient occupancy of the Property, and that the Rental Party will not make the property a residence or household.

    22. Shortened Stays and Conditions
    There will be no refunds due to shortened stays or ruined expectations.

    23. Hazardous materials
    The Rental Party agrees that hazardous materials will not be stored or used in or around the Property.

    24. Illegal Use
    The Rental Party will use the property for legal purposes only and other use will cause termination of the Booking without refund.

Great place

We stayed her recent for a snow trip. We have a young family and it was great to be located so close to the shops and Thredbo. The place was clean and has everything we needed. We’ll stay again.

Great stay

With views from every window, well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings and excellent location our stay at The Lodge was extremely enjoyable. A quiet weekend to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. The excellent communication with the booking agency was an added bonus.

A fabulous holiday in a fabulous spot. The Lodge was clean, spacious and well equiped for our week long stay. Great views and easy 5-10 min walk to the main resort centre. Great to have free access to all the resort activities. Half way between Jindabyne and Thredbo - a great spot to explore the Snowy Mountains. Highly recommend.

Bloody Awesome

We 3 have been going to Jindi for a few years now to fish for trout, and I decided to book Crackenback .... Sooo glad I did because we had beautiful weather, and stayed in an awesome place, clean, checkin so easy and even though of a night got cold, we were warm as toast,didn`t use the aircon much, as we were out walking or driving to the rivers and creeks... it`s a shame I can only give 5 star rating, because it would be well over a lowly 5 .... on the way home we 3 raved over the stay we had and all agreed they might even take spouses for a trip . 7 hrs is a long drive, BUT the "Lodge" was well worth it... give it a go !! Cheers

Great place to stay

Our family of four found the accommodation great for our trip to the snow. Very spacious and clean, lots of heating in all rooms. Would definitely recommend to others for a winter getaway.

Amazing, beautiful and tranquil location

The property was great, with plenty of room and all the essentials, with open plan setup. Plus convenience of location to the lake and activities. Only downside was limited outside covered area for storage of bikes or snow gear for the winter season.

A great place to stay at Crackenback

Easy to check in - nice and clean. Lovely apartment style property & very comfortable Great for our family of 4 - loved the kids games they could use. It is always fantastic to come into a place and have some basic provisions in the kitchen ie Tea/Coffee etc. We would come back for sure. Thank you :)
