“Had many past places say it was secluded & wasn’t. This place definitely was secluded. Was a nice place to unplug but not to far to join the public (40 min drive). Walking in is surprising…. But main living is on the second floor. Very relaxing atmosphere. Was very clean. We usually don’t go to the same place twice but this property is on the list to revisit. Also feeding the horses was a nice touch. ”

“The house is perfect and the space is completely immaculate. To be clear the front porch faces what looks like a gas station but actually is a country store ran by the nicest family. The right side of the house offers gorgeous river views. We were comfortable we absolutely loved our time down by the river. We had a fire we went fishing. It’s one of the best family trips we’ve taken.”

“Everything was as advertised and exceeded expectations. Beds were very comfortable, we had all the amenities we needed, and the location was a perfect base for our New River Gorge adventures! The train tracks are VERY active, but it was expected and didn’t bother us a bit. The back deck was great for bird watching! We saw many different birds, including herons and even a bald eagle. “I can't say enough great things! This little cabin was so peaceful, exactly what my dogs and I needed! The place is old but well maintained, just what you would expect in a mountain cabin! The yard was cut and easy to walk my dogs in! There is a fire pit and grill, we didnt use them because my one dog is older and gets cold easily. The location is superb! “Everything was as pictured! The bus location is closer to the other bus than imagined, but no one was occupying the space. This was a home away from home in a secluded area. It was a nice hilly drive to get to the property. We didnt have starter wood for the fire and within 15 minutes someone came by on 4 wheelers and delivered some! The stay did not disappoint. If I could stay for a month I would. Bring bug repellant! ”
