Beautiful views!

Great location to visit Creede and the surrounding area. The big cabin windows give a great view of the mountains. We had deer visit almost every morning The kitchen is the most stocked of any rental we ever used.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is located close by to the town of Creede and it’s a great location for exploring the area. It’s up on a hill by itself so it does feel private. The pots and pans need to be replaced as they were full of scratches. Otherwise we found the cabin comfortable and well stocked. Would love for the owners to build a deck that guests could sit out on and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. We’ll probably rent it again.

Incredibly relaxing stay in Creede

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I loved our stay here. It was at the end of the road and very private. The house itself is roomier than you'd think with a nice sitting area on the top floor as part of the master. It's perfect for family. It was very clean and comfortable. Our dogs loved it! The views were great and it's a short, beautiful drive into Creed proper. This home has everything you need to enjoy bucolic Creede living at it's finest. Would definitely book again!

Gorgeous Cabin Nestled Against National Forestland

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an absolutely wonderful time. The cabin is equipped with nearly everything we needed. The only thing it does not have is refrigerator staples. The furnishings are beautiful as well as the land surrounding it. There was so much to do just around the cabin. We adventured out to the American Basin, North Clear Creek Falls, Bachelor’s Loop, and to Love Lake to fish during our 4-night stay. I felt complete peace and serenity during our stay. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone searching for seclusion, yet also wanting fun daytime activities.

Initially we were just in town looking for a tucked away spot to relax while the kids went to theater camp. But once we realized how it back to national Forest and how happy our dog was to just hike right out the back door for a walk it made it so enjoyable and comfortable that it was worth every penny to extend our stay. Perfect in all regards. Fabulous books, well appointed kitchen, extremely well appointed bathrooms. Very comfortable beds. Cozy nook and living room. They make very good use of the space and it easily accommodated our large family and pup. We really appreciated the swing the fire pit the picnic table and the deck. So much wildlife right out the windows you could spend all day just enjoying the view.

Wildlife photos galore

The property was perfect for our needs. We have amazing videos of wildlife, including a beautiful fox, taken right from the picture window. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything was immaculate. Access was easy in August. We were uphill1/4 mile from the subdivision Bristol Head Acres below us on the river. There the problem lies. In the middle of the night early Saturday morning around one AM we heard gun shots. Apparently many in Bristol Head Acres heard them also. Those residents posted on "Creede Happenings" at 11:29 AM Saturday, "did anyone hear a bunch of semi automatic gun fire late last night in Bristol head?" Then the comments to that post turned to arguing about guns and shooting. Around 10:30 PM Saturday night we heard more gun shots. So I guess the residents of Bristol Head Acres hadn't come to consensus. Maybe VRBO guests need to be aware that Creede is in a Colorado district where some or a few of the residents, full-time and part-time are second amendment rights above quiet enjoyment and safety advocates.

Exceeded Expectatioms

We've been vacationing near Creede since the mid 80's. My folks had a place in Ptarmigan Meadows. It backed the National Forrest like this vrbo... Amenities perfect location perfect clean and gorgeous. Hope to stay at this vrbo again. Thanks so much.

Will stay again next year!

The home was clean and well-appointed. I loved the isolation of the cabin. It's about 7 miles from Creede but that was no problem. We have stayed for over 20 years in Lake City. Creede has more to offer and a wonderful little grocery store. Very pleasant stay.

Wonderful!!

We loved our stay in this lovely cabin. Through the clearing, in the forest behind the house, deer grazed, a fox explored and too our amazement a couple of black bear cubs tumbled into sight. This is a wonderful location. Cozy and the perfect spot for relaxing indoors and out!

Mountain Getaway

Nice secluded cabin. Very clean and love how it’s tucked in the tree line. Saw deer feeding, a fox, & plenty of chipmunks. We will definitely stay here again. The only thing is it says sleeps 6 but there are only two queen beds. We noticed that in the pictures and just brought an air mattress. We have three kids. Other than that, great place to stay!

Broken Arrow Ranch

This was a beautiful cabin in an ideal location! The amenities were perfect, and the cabin was clean and extremely comfortable. The only bit of feedback is the listing states it comfortably sleep 6. There are 2 double beds and 2 couches that do not fold out into beds, so 2 are required to sleep on couches, which isn’t the most comfortable. Other than that, it was a great place and would definitely stay again.
