Impresionantes vistas panorámicas y terraza para ver

Ubicada a 10 minutos del centro de Crescent City y del río Smith, nuestra casa se encuentra en la cima de una colina que domina el océano y es perfecta para unas vacaciones privadas y relajantes. Conectado por una pasarela, la propiedad tiene dos unidades separadas. La casa principal tiene una suite principal, dos dormitorios, dos baños y una sala familiar ubicada en la planta baja, perfecta para una noche de juegos con la familia. Arriba está la cocina, el comedor, el bar y medio baño, con una terraza envolvente. Dirígete a la cubierta para ver cómo el sol se pone lentamente en el Pacífico, preparándote para una noche relajante mirando las estrellas.

Al otro lado de la pasarela, la suite de invitados tiene un dormitorio, baño y sala de estar. Gran adición para una pareja extra o alguien que necesita un poco más de privacidad. Tenemos dos salas de estar que pueden acomodar dos colchones queen y sofás para dormir si su grupo tiene más de 8 adultos. Hay un cargo adicional de $ 80 por noche por el uso de la suite de invitados.

Nuestra propiedad está ubicada en 6 1/2 acres con un camino cerrado, pavimentado, curvado de 600 pies de largo. Las vistas se extienden desde Crescent City Harbour hasta Brookings, Oregón, incluidos Castle Rock y Pt. S t. George Lighthouse visible desde el balcón delantero. Los binoculares están disponibles en la casa para disfrutar de las vistas al océano y son excelentes para la observación de aves.

We drove from Medford airport to the house. The drive was easy and had stunning views. Directions to house were very easy to follow. The house was so beautiful and check in was a breeze. The house on the hill had amazing and breathtaking views of the ocean. The property was nicely secluded but close enough to the trails and water. Host gave clear check in and check out instructions and we came ready for the sights. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. We loved this house and will definitely see for a revisit!

Perfect.

Perfect house to get away from it all. Sunsets on the porch tucked up and away, you can relax and leave the world behind. The driveway is something of an adventure, and our big suburban rental took some time and delicate maneuvering to make it up and down, but that only added to the charm for us. The separate apartment across the walkway was perfect for our married kids to have their own space. Seriously. This is THE place.

Great home base for Redwood vacation

Family of 6, 4 adults and two children. We had a great time visiting the area. The redwood trees and the tide pools were the main draw. The house was clean, private and perfect for traveling with my in-laws. The garage apartment was great if some travelers need their own space!

Family Vacation to Redwoods

Our stay was very nice. It was a vacation/gift to my parents from their 4 adult children A vacation with just the six of us in over 30 years. The house accommodated us very well. A few minor things but overall was nice. The driveway made me very nervous as I am a flatlander - it was the steepest I have ever had to drive, but we did it (some of our group would opt to walk down so not to be nervous). Close to redwoods parks. A very nice stay.

Perfect Location for our Redwoods Vacation

The property was in a perfect location for our Redwoods vacation. Very close to many National Forests and Parks. The view from the deck was incredible. You can see the ocean by day and beautiful sunsets at night. The driveway is even steeper than we imagined but it's in great shape so we had no issues. The only watch out was we had a couple mid to upper 70's days and it got really hot in the house and there's no AC. There are fans and we closed all the blinds and got some air moving but it was still too hot to sit inside comfortably. Thankfully, the wrap around deck was super nice in the shade and there are plenty of chairs to hang out there. Would definitely stay here again!

Short trip to the Redwoods

We loved the house on the hill for our stay! Even though we were only there one night it was a beautiful property and had room for our 8 guests. The driveway was steep but very well kept. It’s worth it for the beautiful view from the house! Everything was clean and as described in the features. I wish we could have spent more time here to enjoy the property!

Amazing all the way around! The views the location was just amazing! Words and pictures do no justice to this place! I highly recommend this home!!! My family and i almost didn't want to go and explore other local activities just because the home was soooo amazing! If i could rate this home 100 stars i would! The home was also very very clean and well stocked with everything you need! We want to thank the host for allowing my family and I to stay in their beautiful home and make unforgettable memories! Thank you! We are planning to return to this home! We cant wait!

Redwood Hideout

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The main house and additional guest house was a perfect fit for our family of ten. The views of the forest, ocean, and sunsets were unbelievable from the deck and the location of the rental was ideal for spending time in Crescent City, visiting the area beaches, seeing the Redwoods, and swimming in the Smith River -- all highlights of our trip. I have to mention the driveway as it is something unlike anything I've ever seen. Totally doable in our full-size car and minivan, but pretty steep. The views it affords though totally pay off plus it makes for a good workout if you're into that type of thing while on vacation.

Stunning views, unique stay

The property is in a great location for exploring the redwoods, the NorCal Coast, and southern Oregon coast. It was very clean, and had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing few days exploring. Accommodations in the area are limited, and if you don’t want to camp this house makes an excellent alternative for those who still want to enjoy all that the surrounding area has to offer. Yea the driveway is very steep and winding but we had no problems with it. We felt very safe up on the hill and the property felt super private. The views were absolutely incredible, and we felt like we were in a treehouse of sorts. Only a few suggestions: the screen doors need replacing, wish the guest house had a king bed (there is room!), and the beds all creak loudly. But the AC, cleanliness, views, and overall space make up for any small quirks!

The house is very nice. The view is amazing! When they say the driveway is steep, it's no joke. After the first up/down it wasn't too bad. You need to get up there to benefit from the amazing views.

Crescent City for the first time

We were there for a wedding and I must say we couldn’t be more excited with the house. Location is perfect with beautiful views outside the all around balcony the house offers . It is true that the road leading to the house is very steep like everyone was saying but it was worth it. Would definitely recommend it to anyone going there visiting!

Beautiful views

The property manager for this rental was fantastically responsive, allowing us to book this last minute when another property fell through. Beautiful views from the kitchen/dining room. I think the bed in the master is the comfiest I've ever slept on. The drive thru the redwoods to the property are majestic. As noted, the driveway is steep but makes a great place to get some exercise if you walk up and down a couple of times, watching for hummingbirds. Loved it.

Beautiful Views, In the Heart of Redwoods

The house is located in the heart of redwoods, and only 10 mins to Jedediah State Park (where we saw HUGE redwood trees) and 10 mins to the coast in Crescent City (where we spent hours hunting tide pools for starfish - and found MANY!) They are currently doing some work on the deck of the house, so a lot of that was roped off and didn't feel exactly safe. But, we enjoyed the view from the huge windows just as much. The house is located at the top of a VERY steep driveway, with hairpin turns. Our Jeep Wrangler handled it fine, but it was a little intimidating and I would worry that not all cars would handle it well. All in all, the house is an awesome location, clean and the host was very responsive. We truly enjoyed our quick trip!

Great location, beautiful views

We loved our stay in the nicely maintained main and guest house. Main house has a beautiful views of forest and ocean in the distance. Very clean and modernized interior. Great kitchen. Driveway is very steep and windy as indicated in ad but was ok for our cars. Would definitely recommend this property and looking forward to visiting again. Location is perfect to visit Jedediah Smith State park.

Great views and close to the redwoods.

House layout has 3 bedrooms on the ground level: Master bedroom with private bath (shower) and 2 bedrooms with shared bath (tub/shower combo). The 4th bedroom is across the catwalk on the 2nd level (shower). There is just the spiral staircase in the house going to the 2nd floor kitchen, sitting room and deck. House can use some updating but was clean and worked for our needs. Host was easy to work with. Like many have said, the driveway is very steep and can be slick with rain. Lovely views.
