  • Bring the whole family to The Ruby Rose to unwind and escape the heat and spend time at the beach, or hiking the giant redwood forrest's. This cozy home is located about 5 minutes from down town Crescent City, in a very quiet and quaint 1960's neighborhood. This home features a large family room perfect for relaxing after a long day of surfing the Pacific Ocean. Bring your kayaks, or binoculars; Lake Earl awaits you at the end of the road, perfect for birdwatching or spending time outdoors.

    Named after its founderThe Ruby Rose is a 3Bd/2Bth 2,000sqft cottage style home built in the 1960's. The property boasts mature landscaping, a large yard with pathways and garden beds.

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely home! It was clean & a very quite neighborhood! Love how we were in the middle of all sightseeing... Your garden is breathtaking!!Also appreciate that you replace the coffee grinder promptly! We would recommend this property. We may be back!The only thing negative is the double rug in living room was a tripping hazard! Also a chair in bedroom and something to place our luggage on would be helpful. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here while visiting Crescent City to explore the Redwoods and it was great. The house was really excellent for our family. Beds were comfy and there was lots of room for us to spread out and enjoy our time there. The shared living spaces were excellent. The yard was also wonderful - our kids had a great time playing out there and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with the fire pit as well. Check in was easy, directions for check in/out were clear and the host was excellent. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Crescent City again!

The host was quick with response and the house was nicely updated and had everything we needed for cooking,showering.the propane fire pit on the deck was awesome to sit around and converse.

Lovely comfortable home

We loved our stay at this beautiful home. Spacious, perfect back yard and located close enough to everything. The slider door gave us a bit of trouble, but the weather was lovely so we just kept it open for most of our stay.

House was very clean with lots of modern upgrades, such as appliances & bathroom vanity. My favorite part was the deck and beautiful flower gardens. Host was very responsive. Only 10 minutes from Jedediah Smith State Park, which is a must see.

Crescent City Gem

Exceptionally clean, I mean really clean, and a fun mix of modern and period decor. Would absolutely stay here again and have already recommended to family. Host responded within a few minutes to answer questions. Wonderful stay :)

Comfortable stay

We enjoyed our stay at this well-equipped home in a neighborhood in north Crescent City. The beds were comfortable and the living spaces were roomy. And a bonus, this is the first rental I have ever stayed in where the neighbors wished us a good vacation.
