  • Situado a sólo 2 manzanas de Elk Avenue en el centro histórico de Crested Butte, Cottage de Karla es una adorable dos dormitorios, dos baños casa de campo listo para su pr��xima escapada! Totalmente remodelado con mucho encanto y una ubicación que no puede ser vencido, esta propiedad ofrece comodidad en la ciudad por un precio de la ciudad!

    Paso dentro de la cabaña de Karla y se sentirá como en casa. La propiedad ha sido objeto recientemente de una renovación completa, de pies a cabeza, y el diseño es ideal para todas sus necesidades de vacaciones. La cocina, completa con encimeras de azulejos de cerámica y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, se abre a la sala de estar con techos abovedados, grandes ventanales y una estufa de leña. Es el lugar perfecto para entretener a sus amigos o familiares después de un largo día de esquí, ciclismo, o recorrer la ciudad. We have stayed here many times over the years . Great place for a family and dogs . The back yard is the real treat . Fenced in well maintained beautiful views .It true CB mining cabin experience right near everything town has to offer .

We (2 humans and a dog) had a wonderful stay at Karla's cottage! Parked the car upon arrival and didn't use it again--loved being in walking distance to everything in town. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable, and we especially loved having the fenced-in yard. Would love to stay again!

Peaceful little gem

This unassuming little house from the outside is super cozy and comfy on the inside. The backyard is so pretty and peaceful. Location is perfect. Walkable to Elk Ave, no problem. Perfect for our stay this visit.

Karla’s Cabin is even better than the pictures. Our two dogs loved the back yard and the accommodations were super comfy. We appreciate the obvious thoughtfulness and care that has gone into this sweet space. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Thank you!

Fabulous cottage

Such an adorable cottage! Will definitely stay again. So quaint, two blocks to downtown Crested Butte. The neighborhood is amazing. The locals are also friendly. Fantastic hike. Overall a wonderful weekend. Thank you so much. BTW, love the little backyard really enjoyed just sitting by the fire with my little dog.

Cozy & Perfect Location

A beautifully remodeled historic home with loads of charm and an absolutely perfect location. 50 feet to the free shuttle stop, a block to the Nordic Center, two blocks to Elk Avenue and close to Clark's Market, which is your grocery store in CB. We stayed for 9 days in ski season. The woodstock was a nice touch. Highly recommended.

Awesome house! Great location!

Awesome house right off Elk ave. Had a rustic mountain cabin feel and very cozy after a long day on the slopes. House was very close to the shuttle pick up and had parking for our rent car. We were able to walk to all the restaurants and coffee shops. The only thing that would make this house even more amazing would be a hot tub on the patio. A+ rental. Highly recommend.

Biking with friends

Great week biking with friends. The place was great for location, fantastic fenced backyard to hang with dog and friends, and garage was a bonus! It is best for 2 couples. It is tight for anyone on the couch. The suite upstairs has an open bathroom with the bedroom, and that is odd. The upstairs carpet makes a Velcro noise when walked on, kinda quirky. We will stay again, but best for one or 2 couples max.

Great, cozy spot! Just a couple notes

Great spot! Easy access to Mt. Crested Butte via free shuttle, and super close to town. The only *notes* I have is that the downstairs shower water temperature was inconsistent (warm and then dropped quickly to super cold), and the backyard had about 5 feet of snow, which completely covered any area for dogs to run around. There was a thin path about 2 feet wide shoveled to the back shed, but again, not really a yard for dogs, which was a bummer for our pup. Lovely place otherwise, just don’t expect much of a yard in the winter months.

Great Location

Location was great, house was adorable, beds we pretty comfy with loads of blankets and perfect size for family of three with one large dog. House was well stocked with everything you need. The large mud room was great for all our gear-could use some boot trays and ski hooks but we did fine without. The on demand hot water heater gave us loads of hot water to fill the jetted tub and take warm showers. The one minor negative was the lining under the rug on the loft floor made a wierd crackling noise that was pretty loud for those on the 1st floor but we were all exhausted after our ski days that we went to bed at the same time anyway so it wasn’t a huge deal. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

Great cottage for pets

This is a very comfortable cottage with a lovely fenced yard and a gated front porch, which is perfect for pets. There is also a garden hose which reaches to the back alley for hosing off dogs that rolled in...you know what. We brought crates with us so the dogs wouldn't mess up the white carpet upstairs. There are wood floors downstairs. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only downside were the oddly placed steps in the house...I fell three times tripping over the raised floor in the upstairs bedroom (no worries, there is thick carpeting). I would rent this place again. Great location, close to coffee shops and restaurants.

I loved the house and the town of Crested Butte.

I loved the house and the town of Crested Butte. The house is quirky but very comfortable with a great location, and learning about its history was fascinating. As I noted above, I had trouble getting the issues with the TV and wifi fixed, but the team was very friendly and cordial.

The whole house needs a serious vacuum.

The whole house needs a serious vacuum. I did yoga in the living room on my first day and the carpet was so caked with dirt that I decided to lay down a sheet over it. It clearly hasn’t been vacuumed in a long time. The team was really helpful in providing a discounted house rate due to my last minute booking. However, they sounded pretty stressed when I called and they never called me back when they said they would. It was fine because I called back and someone answered. Similarly when I asked about the Wi-Fi I got the response in effect, “There’s nothing we can do about it.” Which seems untrue considering the Wi-Fi at the local cafes is good. Also, you should explain to people who book that the Wi-Fi is not strong enough to work from home. The binder should also explain this.
