We were four mountain-biking women seeking autumn colors and lots of riding in Crested Butte. Initially we thought there might be more of us, so we booked this house that could accommodate 10 people.
This house was very clean, and the light and views were amazing. It was a perfect launch point for mountain biking. The kitchen was well-stocked, and we made several gourmet meals.
If you read the description more carefully than I did, you'll realize that there is another unit attached above the garage. The people in that unit are completely separate, but their window looks straight down into 2 of the bedroom windows for this unit. Thus, the light from that unit is cast into these bedroom windows, and you might not want to walk around naked with the lights on if that unit is populated. That unit actually looks quite amazing, with a nice high deck and stunning views (beyond the bedroom windows).
Two of the bedrooms have adjoining bathrooms.
To get to the 4 bunk beds, one must climb a ladder. If you have folks needing to use a bathroom in the middle of the night, don't put them in the bunk beds. This space is perfect for older children and teens.
The owner was easy to contact and work with. We were able to move our visit forward one day a couple of weeks before the trip. When we arrived, the door was locked because the new date had now been corrected in the management calendar, but a quick phone call had the issue resolved in just a few minutes.
