Ubicado en el distrito histórico de Crested Butte ya solo una cuadra de Elk Avenue, este chalé de 1 habitación y 2 baños está listo para su próxima escapada. Totalmente remodelado con un montón de encanto y una ubicación que no puede ser mejor, esta casa de campo es la conveniencia de la ciudad para el precio de fuera de la ciudad.

Entra en este fantástico alquiler de vacaciones y te sorprenderá la cantidad de espacio y el uso de materiales. La cocina está totalmente equipada y cuenta con encimeras de granito y una gran isla. El plano de planta abierto ofrece un excelente acceso al nuevo patio y jardines de losas. Hay una chimenea de gas en la sala de estar, así como un baño completo en este nivel para los huéspedes. El sofá se despliega en un sofá cama, recomendado para niños pequeños.

Arriba está toda la suite principal con una cama queen, baño completo, lavadero grande, closet y espacio suficiente para probar las nuevas posiciones de yoga en las que has estado trabajando. Las puertas francesas de la suite principal se abren para la gran brisa de verano y se acuestan en la cama todas las mañanas al despertar con fantásticas vistas de la Montaña Gótica. ¡Ya sea una escapada romántica para dos o unas pequeñas vacaciones familiares, Margeaux`s Cottage te está esperando!

Great location

The house was perfect for our short trip. Walking distance to everything in town. Close to fantastic hiking. The property is very well managed, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay.

Great location, just a block from Elk Avenue. The house is charming, and the kitchen is well set up. The property management company does a very professional job.Two small things to mention: Watch your head in some parts of the upstairs — the ceiling can be low. And note that the bathrooms can be a little cramped.

Highly recommend Margeaux's Cottage

Margeaux's Cottage was clean, comfortable, great location close to shuttle bus stop, restaurants and shops. Felt like home away from home. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Location

The cabin is in an incredible location, easy to walk all around town. The place is a little smaller than expected, I'm 6'-1" tall and had to crouch to use the bathroom and get in bed, but it was cozy and relaxing.

Heaven on Earth!

Absolutely charming and comfortable! Sits in the perfect location. Walk to all the restaurants and shops as well as several trailheads.

Comfortable and convenient

The location is superb - close to the mountain bus and downtown. Mattress is comfortable. The radiant floors were a bonus. We would stay here again!

Weekend Getaway

We stayed at this property to attend a friend's wedding and we were not disappointed! It is so close to all of the "hot spots" and Green Lake Trail. It was a quick drive to other trailheads. The property was clean and the amenities were as listed. We had a wonderful trip!

Great place

Close to downtown Crested Butte. Close to town shuttle to get to Crested Butte Ski area. Quiet and well maintained. Walk was shoveled the same day it snowed. Overall a great place. We would stay again.

So cute and quiet

The cottage was so cute and cozy! We loved being able to walk one block to the farmers market, having our own parking spot in front of the cottage and how tastefully decorated and well stocked the cottage was. The property management folks was very nice and communicated well. We would definitely stay here again. Loved it.

Great Location & cute cottage

Location was perfect. Everything is in walking distance. The cottage was cute, the pictures accurate, but feel obligated to disclose some things we did not like. These things might not matter to you, so it would be a great rental, if they aren't deal breakers for you: Cons: 1) This is an A-Frame house which the pictures disclose. What I did not get from the pictures is that the 1 bed in the house requires you to crawl into the bed from the right side. Or, you can hunch over to get in from the left. However, you cannot stand up straight, so I bumped my head 2 times in the middle off the night getting out of bed because I was semi-asleep and forgot. I did not like this feature AT ALL. 2) There is no A/C. This is my fault, because the description clearly indicates there is no A/C. I was told many folks in this part of the country don't have A/C because it gets cool at night. We went in late August and the days got up to 80(ish).... sorry, but around 9-10pm, it was still warm in the bedroom & we had a hard time sleeping. They did put a box fan in the closet which we used, but I didn't like the noise. I won't assume in the future that all houses in the US have A/C. Gotta end with a Con: 1) Management company is extremely responsive. We had issues with the lock when we arrived, and their 24/7 oncall response was top-notch.

Perfect cottage for our week in the mountains

We had an amazing stay. Location was two blocks from the ski shuttle (3 minute walk) and one block from Elk street. We walked everywhere. The cottage was comfortable and clean. Washer and dryer in the home was an added bonus! We will be back!

Super convenient location. The only time we got in the car was to move it to the other side of the street for snow cleaning.

Might be our favorite

My husband and I have been coming to Crested Butte for many years and have stayed in many rental homes, at all times of year. Margaux’s Cottage may be our favorite ever. We love the big open space of the downstairs, especially the fireplace and the large island in the kitchen. The sofa and chairs are very comfortable. The bedroom upstairs is very roomy and the bed itself was very comfortable. The bathrooms are small but not a problem. The location is perfect, a very short walk to elk and a bus stop for the mountain shuttle. We will definitely be back.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay in Crested Butte. We were in town and could walk to everything. I enjoyed the bathtub and having two bathrooms. We had a nice sitting area in the backyard that we shared with our neighbors. The only thing I didn’t like were the stairs going up to the bedroom. They are steep and the stair surface is only 5” so I walked sideways. Minimum should be 10”.

Cozy beautiful in a great mountain town

We loved it, had to get over a couple things. Small bed if you are over 6' tall you need to be flexible and the shared backyard. However, it truly is a well maintained, beautiful place to stay. And Brandon from Iron Horse staff was great guy/very responsive. We could see staying here again ;-)

Convenient to Downtown

Nice place for a couple. A little quirky but worked out fine. We really liked the convenience to walk just a block to the downtown scene. Finding the key when we got there was a little challenge, but after that it worked just great.

Outstanding Location in Well Appointed Cottage

Everything about this property was exceptional with one glaring problem which is why a 4 star rating. The mattress on the Queen sized bed needs to be replaced it is ok but not overly comfortable for two adults.
