  • Welcome to The Stargazer, our spacious log cabin in Sangre de Cristo mountains!
    With mesmerizing views of the San Luis valley in the West and humbling 14er peaks in the North, this house is conveniently located close to the town of Crestone. You will spend your mornings and evenings marveling at golden sunrise and sunset from the expansive wrap around deck. It is a perfect getaway for your family whether you choose to spend time at the cabin or visiting one of the many nearby attractions.

    NOTE:
    - Drive to Sand Dunes National Park is 55 minutes.
    - There is NO AC
    - NO PETS Allowed

Loved our stay in Crestone. The cabin was exactly as described and had everything we needed for our family time away from home. It was private, quiet, and in a friendly neighborhood. The kids loved the foosball table and I loved having my own bathroom! If we make our way back to the area in the future, we will definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the comfortable Stargazer Cabin. Bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately it was too chilly to sit on the decks but they are lovely. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great sand dunes getaway

This beautiful home was a perfect place for our day at Great sands dunes national park. It was immaculate and situated so peacefully in the woods. It was great for our trip with 4 grandchildren.

We loved our stay at the Stargazer! It was exactly what we needed. The views were breathtaking—sunsets and sunrises each day and stargazing at night. We enjoyed being close to the Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls as well as the proximity to the market in Crestone. The house was well stocked with all the amenities we needed for cooking each night and lots of linens. The host was helpful and fast with responses. We cannot say enough great things and would absolutely recommend staying here!

Beautiful cabin. Very clean and updated. The sunset and stars were amazing!

My husband and I enjoyed the beautiful cabin! We drove to the Great Sand Dunes and hiked Zapata Falls. Fabulous vacation.

Relaxing vacation

Crestone is a beautiful area and we spent four nights in the Stargazer cabin relaxing, going on nearby hikes, making great meals, and of course we had a couple of amazing star nights hanging out on the upper deck. The cabin is very nice, comfortable, and private. We loved staying there and enjoyed the quiet and beauty of the area.

The Stargazer was the perfect spot for our large family! We watched the stars from the back deck and enjoyed a fun day at the sand dunes. Crestone was charming and quiet. We had everything we needed.
