  • Offering sumptuous accommodation, this single-storey cottage is surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife.. All on the Ground Floor:

    Open plan living space.

    Living area: 40" Freeview TV, DVD Player, Ipod Dock, DAB Radio, Woodburner, French Doors Leading To Garden

    Dining area.

    Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer

    Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Z-Bed (Flexible Sleeping Only)

    Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Underfloor oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner provided. Travel cot, highchair and fireguard available on request. Welcome pack (hamper from local deli on request).. Small, enclosed garden with patio and furniture. 20 acre grounds (shared). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply from a spring and there are sloping banks in the grounds.. Surrounded by farmland, beautiful scenery and wildlife, this semi-detached, single-storey holiday property is set in the heart of the scenic West Strathearn area of Perthshire and only three miles from the pretty village of Comrie. This spacious cottage offers sumptuous accommodation and is perfect for couples who want to relax in this majestic setting.

    The hills and glens of Perthshire make it the ideal location for riding, cycling, fishing and walking, and you are surrounded by some of the finest golf courses in Scotland including the famous Gleneagles. Explore Drummond Castle and its beautiful gardens, the famous Grouse Distillery, and Perth, Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are just a short drive away. Glasgow and Edinburgh are just over an hour’s drive away. After a day exploring, put your feet up and relax in front of the wood burner and enjoy the view.

Everything was as described, perfect for dogs.

Everything was as described, perfect for dogs. Cottage was well maintained and very clean , we had an issue with the water and Fiona ( owner ) responded very quickly and it was fixed pronto . Would def use again if staying in the area .

The house was better/bigger than described or appears in the photos. Lovely location, lots of walks for the dog. Small enclosed garden for the dog. Quick 5 min drive to Crieff. Host Fiona was incredibly responsive and friendly. Absolutely recommend this place and would love to return another time. :)

It was clean, spacious and warm, everything that we look for when we go away. We found the cottage by chance online and it was certainly a hidden gem. Would highly recommend staying here. Shame it wasn’t cold enough to use the log burner! The only very minor downside is there is little in the way of nearby supermarkets but local stores in Comrie sell the basic essentials. We had such a lovely time at Geordie's Byre . The cottage was gorgeous band very roomy. Spotlessly clean with beautiful interior . Lovely enclosed garden for dog , the surrounding countryside is breathtakingly beautiful . Myself, my daughter and our little dog Lincoln had a fabulous time on our 4 night break . Lovely comfortable clean cottage just outside Comrie. Host were helpful and COVID safe distant. The extensive cleansing we were asked to do when leaving, encouraged me these host were being super cautious and careful. WiFi a bit slow, and had especially chosen as it had WiFi. A great cottage in a quiet but convenient location for touring the area.

A great cottage in a quiet but convenient location for touring the area. The owners are on site and were most welcoming. The accommodation was extremely spacious, modern, clean and had all the equipment you could require. We had an excellent week here and would come again and have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends.

We had a lovely few days at Geordie’s Byre. The cottage is beautiful. Very spacious for a one bedroom cottage. Surrounding countryside is stunning with plenty of walks. Fiona was very approachable and helpful.
