  • After a day exploring this fantastic area, come back and relax infront of the wood burner and enjoy the views.. All on the Ground Floor:

    Open plan living space.

    Living area: 40" Freeview TV, DVD Player, Ipod Dock, DAB Radio, Woodburner, French Doors Leading To Garden

    Dining area.

    Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer

    Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed, Z-Bed (Flexible Sleeping Only)

    Bathroom: Bath, Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Underfloor oil central heating, electric, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner provided. Travel cot, highchair and fireguard available on request. Welcome pack (hamper from local deli on request).. Small enclosed garden with patio and garden furniture. 20 acre grounds (shared). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: This property has a natural water supply from a spring and there are sloping banks in the grounds.. Surrounded by farmland, beautiful scenery and wildlife, this semi-detached, single-storey holiday property is set in the heart of the scenic West Strathearn area of Perthshire and only three miles from the pretty village of Comrie. This spacious cottage offers sumptuous accommodation and is perfect for couples who want to relax in this majestic setting.

    The hills and glens of Perthshire make it the ideal location for riding, cycling, fishing and walking, and you are surrounded by some of the finest golf courses in Scotland including the famous Gleneagles. Explore Drummond Castle and its beautiful gardens, the famous Grouse Distillery, and Perth, Stirling, Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park are just a short drive away. Glasgow and Edinburgh are just over an hour’s drive away. After a day exploring, put your feet up and relax in front of the wood burner and enjoy the view.

We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and well equipped cottage. Some signage at the road would have helped a little on arrival - but really we had everything we needed. Very nice welcome hamper. Beautiful surroundings.

Beautifully renovated, comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. We had a very enjoyable short holiday. The setting is quiet and secluded, but Comrie is just minutes away for all the essentials. This is a great area for walking and relaxing. We would recommend Ben Hinnie unreservedly.

A lovely cottage, warm, spacious, stylish and comfortable... except for the bed, which for a couple of nights would be fine, but after a week gave me a sore back. Owners very kind and helpful. If its peace and solitude you are after, in a superb cottage, then Ben Hennie is for you. The views over the mountains are tremendous, especially on an evening, when the sun sinks beneath them. The cottage is finished to a implicably high standard and has everything you need. Due to its location, a car is essential and do not expect speedy download speeds. Lovely Cottage, stunning location.

Lovely Cottage, stunning location. The cottage was spotless, the owners welcomed us on arrival and went over how the cooker and heating worked. The cottage is very spacious even room for a grand piano in the lounge area. good size kitchen clean and new modern fittings. Large bathroom with big shower and bath if you need it. Bedroom also big plenty of wardrobe space, the only criticism is the bed really needs a new mattress, not very comfortable and sags in the middle. It is a remote location but has stunning views over mountains and wooded hills. As you would expect in a remote location mobile phone signal nearly non existent, there is Wi-Fi (2mb) which is just about enough for WhatsApp or Skype calls.

The best cottage we've ever stayed in.

The best cottage we've ever stayed in. Everything about it was perfect. Welcoming, clean and comfortable plus thoughtful little extras. Everything worked. We had great weather but will be very happy to return to Ben Hennie whatever the weather and maybe enjoy the underfloor heating and log burner next time. Thankyou.
