The staff are really nice, I can only mention by name Jonathan on reception who was very helpful but all the other staff on reception were also lovely as well as the bar staff and chambermaids. We had two rooms just above the discotheque which is open at weekends and the night receptionist told us to expect a bit of noise but to be honest we were so whacked out it wasn't a problem. We...

“This centrally located hotel is perfect for a trip in or around Morpeth. We were a group of four in two rooms. The rooms were large and spacious, and the beds comfortable and clean. The rooms and public areas would benefit from some decoration as they detract from the fantastic customer service the staff offers. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we were in the area”

“It's a fantastic place to stay, but the wallpaper which is fab could do with glueing down in the room we stayed in 132. Also herb sausage is not breakfast sausage, maybe do just pork or beef sausage. Everything else was fantastic lovely stay.”

“It's a very nice hotel with plenty of charm and a really nice location. Cruise ships and other large ships come right past and it's not far of a walk to the main beach area and Pleasure Beach and was nice and quiet for our stay. Hard to fault the hotel in general. Breakfast was very nice as well. Staff were friendly. The rooms were roomy and looked nice but unfortunately the pieces didn't add up to what I had hoped for. It was a hot weekend and fortunately quiet so we could have the window...

“First time we’ve stayed here , and being relatively local, visit Newcastle often. The hotel is classy and comfortable, with brilliant staff . A few minutes walk to the Glasshouse and located on the quayside with some great restaurants and bars nearby. Parking was easy with hotel reserved parking at the rear of the hotel. Without a doubt, this will be our first choice for overnighters in Newcastle.”
