“Bad start with very tough beef strogonoff but recompensed without debate. Clean and comfortable but dining chairs could do with re padding. Tough 9 hole golf but swimming pool has limited capacity and I missed out. Good breakfast.Useful location near Railway station and plenty parking. Just needs more a bit more effort but enjoyable.”

The room was basic, which would have been fine had it not been let down by poor house keeping. Beds and towels were changed and that was it. “The room was clean and tidy, staff were pleasant and helpful. The food in the restaurant was good and varied. The only drawback for us was the lack of a cooked breakfast. I didn't like the continental offering, There was however a fridge in the room. We took our dog with us for which we paid 35 pounds there was nothing provided for the dog”

“The room was lovely. Room 5. It had a refurbishment. It was like staying in a country cottage. It was very clean. Tea/coffee making facilities. Good selection of breakfast you could have. Full english was very tasty. The staff were polite. The bar was a bit pricey along with the food.”
