“House has everything you need plus a fenced in back yard which makes letting your dog out so easy. Heat and air work great. Slept so well in the very comfortable mattress. Very quiet neighborhood. Took my dog for a walk as wide streets have little traffic. Easy to get in touch with host or his assistant. Recommend this property.”

“House is unique - nice furnishings, comfortable, charming interior. Beautiful views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get to the house and lots of stairs getting down to the water. AC wasn’t working. Knob of main bath shower fell off so we had to use the guest bathroom for showering.”

“Cozy, comfortable home nestled among a quiet neighborhood and tucked into a corner lot of trees. My family was very comfortable here during our extended weekend stay. Great location between Birmingham and Trussville made it convenient to access everything we needed.”

“We had major plumbing issues shortly after we arrived on Friday, 1 person used the shower and it backed up into the toilets, we couldn’t flush the toilets and had to use a store’s bathroom for bowel movements. We had 10 of us. It was obviously an ongoing problem because there were signs in both bathrooms saying not to flush anything but toilet paper. I am angry because it took 3 phone calls and several text messages to get a plumber in on Saturday at 10:30. The main line kept telling us someone...

“I can't say enough how this host made it so easy for us to enjoy this property. The place is extremely clean, open and bright. While the neighborhood is in transition the attention to detail and security were very much appreciated. The location was key for us and centrally located. Hardwood floors and big open windows made the place inviting. We hope to stay here again next year if possible. I would give the host 10 stars if I could for their curtesy and professionalism.”

“Wonderful stay”

“We have stayed at many places over the years and this one was one of the best. It was very clean and well kept. The furnishings were very nice and comfortable. It was beautifully decorated with neat little touches throughout. But what really set it apart was all the little touches like toys and games for the family, the well-stocked coffee bar, the extra blankets in the ottoman, and even a custom word puzzle on the wall in the bathroom. Overall I wish every place we stayed was this nice.”

“The property is very spacious and well maintained. We rented the main level, which has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was great. The kitchen is huge. The views from the deck are really nice too. For part of the stay we rented a small upstairs apartment for our friends. It was so nice. The owner is very pleasant too. Overall it was an excellent stay and we would definitely stay there again.”
