“The house was nice and very stocked with everything we need .”

“The property was not as described. The photographs of the living room are outdated (the furniture pictured is not present in the home), and several of the blinds in the home were broken. The VRBO photos of the yard are not even close to representing how the yard actually looks. There were two broken Adirondack chairs and some lawn furniture covered in plastic. The canopy/gazebo was lying broken in the front yard (this was not a new problem, as it was mentioned in a previous review). The yard was...

“The property is very clean and modern. Very centrally located for adventures at the dunes. We loved our stay. The host is extremely responsive and assisted with suggestions for dinner. It took us only 5 minutes to drive to the beach area from the property which was amazing. And the host is very kid friendly. The property itself is attached to the back of a business which did throw me off a little but we had zero issue with privacy while staying. And there was zero noise issue from the...

“Read other reviews, pictures aren’t accurate to the condition of the property. The neighborhood is super sketchy- not walkable. Inside is ok but older. Couch is very uncomfortable and we had a ton of issues getting the TV to work. The owner didn’t have the heat on for us (they control it) and we woke up freezing to a house in the 50s. Outside needs to be refreshed as well. Hot tub was good. Very difficult to get in and out of the gate- it would be impossible with a large truck. Worst thing was...

“One of the things that we liked the most is that it was close to pretty much everywhere we needed to visit. Indiana Dunes park is just a few minutes away. Marquette Park among other places was one location we couldn't miss on this trip. The house is very spacious and well-designed. We loved in particular the open concept. If we go back to Gary, IN we would love to stay there again.”

“Rhiannon we had such a great time during our stay! The home had everything we needed — super comfortable, clean, and well-stocked. Mornings with coffee by the river was so peaceful, and we loved ending the day with a cozy bonfire at night. We had family members that were showing their cars at Mayhem 11 so the car show was really fun. We went a couple of times to a very nice restaurant called Tacos Tequila in Bourbonnais. Had breakfast at a wonderful place called Momence Cafe. We were lucky to go...

“A nice house, everything is fine, you just have to take into account that there are many mosquitoes and flies”

“The house was spacious which was nice and the area was quiet with easy access the highway. Unfortunately there wasn't much attention to detail when it came to cleaning. There were cobwebs in the corners, hair in the shower and stuck to the ceiling, stains on the ceiling in the kitchen, and some of the pans were dirty or rusty. The worst was the couch in the room with the TV. One end of the couch smelled of BO horribly. It needs a deep cleaning. The pest control devices in every room were kind of...

“clean, comfortable, hosts very responsive to communications, neighborhood felt safe, perfect location for our stay to attend sectionals NTRP tennis tournament at HF Racquet and Fitness Club”

“I enjoyed my stay thank you ”
