We loved staying here for our anniversary! The house was clean, modern with charming touches, and felt secluded even with their other cottage on the property. Having access to the washer dryer was a huge plus after our beach days! Will 100% be coming back for manatee season. Thanks a ton!

For more active interests Three Sisters Springs, Withlacoochee Rails to Trails, Homosassa Springs State Park and Bicentennial Park Pool are nearby for kayaking, cycling, swimming, and jogging. Communication with hosts is stellar: very quick to respond & accommodating. Great getaway, especially to catch a glimpse of beautiful “Old Florida”!

The Sea Cow Retreat is a very well appointed, clean, comfortable and adorable home. We especially loved the back porch and the fire pit! Our pup loved the large yard to play in. The photos of the home represent what you find! Joseph, our host, was very responsive and helpful.

We arrived just after check-in and good thing it was light out because the address was a little hard to see. The house and property is exactly as pictured. Beautiful! It may be better in person! It was super clean, smelled great and the little touches were so appreciated. Labels for all the light switches, bows on the toilet paper and paper towels, dog towels, etc. It was a perfect quiet space for me, my husband, our 7 year old and our dog. It was like being in a new cabin in the woods, but within 10-15 minutes of everything you want to do in Crystal River.

The stay was wonderful. My frustration was finding the code to the door in the message the owner’s sent. Not the owner’s fault but the VRBO site was terrible and it took me quite a while to get find the messages. VRBO app could be easier to use
