This was our second time staying so that should tell you how much we recommend the property. The house is big enough for everyone to relax, the pool area is fantastic, and we had fun taking walks around the property. Easy check-in and check-out.

We love Cuba!!

This was our 2nd time staying at this property and we love it! Fishing, chilling in the pool and jumping off the dock into the pond. This place is great for relaxing.

Property is great for a large group. The pool is refreshing with plenty of seating and shaded seating. The lake provides hours of fishing fun. Home has lots of comfortable seating and is quite spacious. Plenty of room for everyone to find their own slice of paradise. There are two complete kitchens providing extra refrigerator and freezer space. Home is well stocked and has air fryer, slow cooker, blender, keurig and all of the cookwares you will need. Caverns, Crawford County Fair, grocery store, and restaurants within 10 minute drive. Owner is great with communication and responds quickly.

Great Place to Stay

We had a great time. Kids would swim all day we would fish in the mornings and afternoons. We caught good catfish, bluegill, green sun fish, and bass. Went to the ice cream shop near by which was also really good. We had 12 people 4 families and we had no problems making it work. Very nice house and well maintained property.

Amazing location for a family getaway!

We had four generations of family meet in Cuba for a Missouri staycation. It was perfection! The house was amazing and accommodated everyone. The lake was fun for the little one to walk around and see the fish. And, the pool was great! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Peaceful and Beautiful

The pictures of the property and house are accurate. It is well cared for and offers comfortable sleeping and relaxing. The kitchens are easy to work in and well stocked with supplies for guest use. The deck is amazing, comfortable seating and beautiful view. Pool is a great hangout spot. The pool house bathroom is so handy. Lake is clear enough to see the smaller fish at the banks and out by the dock we got to see some huge catfish! Close enough to town for quick runs when needed. The hosts are easy to get a hold of and their check in/out process was the easiest I've experience so far.

Great stay!

This property will exceed your expectations! Everything is clean, stocked and well maintained. Plenty of comfortable seating inside, on deck, poolside, and lakeside for our large group. The owner is continually upgrading furnishings and beds. Mace grocery, Cuba Deli, Cuba Coffee, and Walmart are close by. Route 66, Meramac caverns, laser tag and go cart rides are within 30 minutes. Owner responds quickly to any questions or concerns. Can’t wait to return.

PARADISE PROPERTY

Pictures do not do this slice of heaven justice. Located in Mid-Missouri This is a hidden gem for sure. Perfectly located off the highway a few miles in a valley sits this amazing huge 4 bedroom oasis with a gorgeous lake, outstanding pool and lounging area. As well as a delightful patio with breathtaking views of the lake and sunsets. absolutely perfect for 8 of us to spend quality time together for a little summer getaway. Didnt even use the huge finished basement. The house is huge! Richard the owner was wonderful to deal with and we cant wait to stay again. Thank you Richard for opening your home to share the beautiful property with others.

Perfect kick-off to Summer

This house had everything we could’ve wanted or needed. It was more than big enough for our 5 adults & 2 children, and kept everyone entertained with fishing, swimming, Sonos, games/puzzles and plenty of yard space for running around (or playing several of the yard games we found in the basement). The kitchen had several sets of dishes, some spices, a lot of various utensils, and even some appliances (crockpot, coffee pot, & air fryer). The beds were super comfortable, and the zoned HVAC system kept us all happy. Even though it rained, we spent an entire evening on the covered porch around the gas firepit roasting s’mores, catching up, & playing the ring game. The pool was great (the poolside bathroom is a definite perk for kids), as was the hot tub. We loved having a fire down by the lake – where we spent a lot of time, reeling in a lot of fish! There are TVs in all the bedrooms which was great for downtime/bedtime. The host was very responsive and takes great care of his home. We hope to return again next year!

Perfect in Every Way

I can’t say enough about this property and the memories that were made. From a high school graduation, cousins bonding, fishing with great grandpa and so many other memories I can’t say enough. The house and property are beautiful and are exactly as described. The host was responsive and accommodating and there are instructions throughout the house that make it easy to navigate. We would certainly stay here again!

Perfect family spot

The house was perfect for 2 families needing a place to stay from out of state. It had plenty of amenities for a warm and comfortable stay and would only be even better in the summer w/ the lake and in-ground swimming pool. The owner was super communicative and responsive.

Lake paradise!

Better that you could even expect! From the mattresses, pool/hot tub, clear lake with friendly fishes... everything was great! It was the perfect place to meet up with family.

Great family time

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! We got a lot of use out of the great pool and hot tub, and fishing was very fun for all ages (Papa got a catfish and the 6 year old became very independent with bluegill and bass!). The house was spacious and we appreciated having a second refrigerator. I like to be prepared when we stay in a rental house, so I appreciate detailed reviews. I brought laundry soap, which was good because each guest gets one towel/washcloth/hand towel, so we needed to do laundry a couple times and there were only two pods. I had brought bug spray, which was lucky because the grass to get out to the pond was extremely high and we had a couple ticks. It was cut toward the end of our stay, though. The owner was responsive and easy to reach. He mentioned that there was a mix up with our group coming the same day someone left, which could be why there were a couple areas that hadn’t been completely cleaned (sticky kitchen floor and toothpaste in sink and dumpster already full) but sheets, towels, tubs and counters were clean. Like most rentals, there were a lot of ants in the kitchen, so bring gallon bags for your snacks, etc. I would definitely rent this property again!

Something for everyone

Our large group was aged 1 year to 60ish and there is something for everyone at this home. The inground pool is a great size and gated for safety. The hot tub is nearby. The lake provides hours of fishing and swimming fun. The large deck provides a comfortable vantage point to watch over your brood. Indoors has comfortable furniture with plenty of seating and enough space that you can find your own quiet area to enjoy one of the many books available. Two stocked kitchens provide enough refrigerator space for large groups. The home is well maintained and all beds are comfortable. The grocery store, Walmart, and Master Donuts are less than ten minutes away. Onondaga cave is about 14 miles away and the tour was great. We’ll be back next year as we’ve left some things undone. We need to visit the Second Largest Rocking Chair in the US, and have chicken from the East Office Bar & Grill. A great place to make memories!

Girls Trip

Multigenerational family vacation

Wonderful property with beautiful pool and lake- wonderful porch and area by lake to see the sunset. Grandkids loved the pool and plenty of outside space to play outside. Beautiful house with large kitchen upstairs and downstairs. Made some great memories!

Perfect for quality family time!

Wow this place is amazing! Plenty of room to spread out, beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked, extra kitchen in the basement was so handy! Close to town for a quick dinner or to get more fishing gear ;) Never a bored minute with the lake activities and the pool - we will for sure be back!!
