“This was the third time I have stayed here. Each time with a different member of my family as we return to Darwin.
It is a convenient stop in the trip north allowing a good nights sleep in a quite comfortable room at a reasonable price.
If I am passing through Coober Pedy again Opal Inn will be my first choice”

“We stayed in the family ensuite pub room. It looked like there was a bar fight in the room. Walls damaged, floor not only uneven but about 6 places you could trip on boards sticking up if you were not careful. Front door looked like someone tried to kick it in and no attempt to repair it at all.”
