“We had a great stay, the accommodation was comfortable and clean, the hot tub was a great feature and so relaxing.
the grounds are quiet and we were visited by some chickens too!
Perfectly located for a break from every day life, just 5 minute drive to the town and half an hour to the beach.

“James and Katherine are friendly and attentive hosts and very happy to accommodate our request for a quiet room. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location is convenient for the town centre, with on street parking outside (free after 4pm). We enjoyed our overnight stay at Amonite Lodge.”

“These people are not interested in their guests and do not deserve anyone's custom. Apart from the barman, the owners completely ignored us on arrival while huddled around a table with their backs to us. “Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off.
But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.”
