“Staff were nice. However the room looked clean but it was very dusty . If you are sensitive and have dust allergies like me, I do not recommend this place. We complained and they said they would send a maid but they never did. The tv remote didn’t work but they gave us new batteries instantly. We wanted to open the window because of the dust but it was jammed. They called a repairman immediately and it was fixed . Each level has one washing machine but you can only use the washing machine on...

“ one of my key card bugged a little bit and i couldn't get in the room for few minutes. the shared shower was a bit iffy to look at the ground is old , otherwise the property is very nice and old victorian features ”

“Staff were very friendly room was clean and the carpets in hallways need replacing especially noticeable when your elderly mum was with us, I could see it as a bit of a trip hazard for her. It would have been nice to have an option of a light breakfast instead of a set price option. Coffee was not hotenough. Great location for what we needed and great value.”

“The room was renovated and clean. Appreciated the complimentary water bottles, milk and drink vouchers. Daily cleaning. Aircon works great. All the amenities we needed (minus a microwave) were provided in the room. Ample parking. 5min walk to the train station. At night, you can hear some road noise and music from downstairs, but it's not that loud. Ear plugs are provided. However, the beds were so comfortable that we had a good night's sleep. The beds had wheels and tended to move too much....

“Breakfast was in the next-door pub, The Fiddler, which was great No Balcony, no open window, the doonah had mildew in parts of the seams. The cleaner, Sunday, was exceptionally terrific. The staff were very courteous.”

“Close to Macquarie Park transport more than Macquarie University We were on level 2 and the noise from the road made it really hard to sleep - hotel is on a downhill section of a main road before lights so trucks etc constantly braking. Was clean and fine - just noisy.”
