Beautifully remodeled home. It is stocked so well with essentials. Didn't receive keypad information prior to check-in but host answered my phone call and got me the information immediately. Love the proximity to Custer and southern Black Hills. Would love to stay again!

Arlene’s cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The home was very clean, well maintained, and conveniently located close to downtown. There were plenty of thoughtful extras that made our visit feel easy and cozy. Our dog especially loved having space to run around in the yard, which made it even better for the whole family.Arlene was a fantastic host, friendly, polite, and very communicative throughout our entire stay. She made everything smooth from start to finish. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely keep this cabin in mind for future visits.

Traveled with my parents, husband, and 2 year old and we fell in love with this cabin! We felt more like guests in someone’s home and not just a rental. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on (memory foam?), the views, the space, its close to Custer and several hot spots. There are so many amenities and little extras that just make you feel at home. The home is very toddler and dog friendly. There’s a pack n play, high chair, booster seat, kids dinnerware. For dogs, there are several leads, dog beds, treats etc. would definitely book again.

The perfect spot that has everything you need!

We had the best weekend celebrating my birthday and spending time with friends who are like family! The house was laid out perfectly, making it so comfortable and easy to relax. The beds were super comfortable, and the queen-size bunk beds made the perfect kids’ room—such a great setup! The owner truly thought of everything—from a well-stocked kitchen (condiments included!) to a great selection of toys and games. The quality of the dishware, pots, and pans really stood out too. We felt right at home and can’t wait to come back!

This is a really cute cabin in a nice, quiet neighborhood with stunning views of the black hills. We enjoyed hanging out on the 2 porches, taking in the fresh pine tree smell. The property was extremely well equipped with all of the basics. The owners take care of everything, so there is nothing to worry about during your stay. It's right off highway 16, so it's very convenient to get to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, and Custer state Park.

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing few days. Cabin was comfortable and had everything you could need. They off so many wonderful games for the family and kids . Also was perfect for our fur baby .

Two nights in Custer

Was very presently surprised about the extra amenities in this property. The garage was a great bonus seeing we got here during a hail storm and heavy rain, the outdoor seating areas were also very inviting

Property was advertised as air conditioning but there was no air in the bedrooms was 76 degrees one evening. The last day there a mouse was in one of the bedrooms so slept on couch that nightNot the best.

Had a great vacation in the black hills with our granddaughter. This house was set up with everything we needed to cook meals and hang out after a day of sightseeing. The yard was a bonus as we brought along our Lab who enjoyed running around and fetching up his toys. House was clean and comfortable to stay in. Would recommend this home if you’re in Custer.

We used this home as a base for exploring the Black Hills. It was only 1 minute from the Custer sign, making the location convenient to get groceries or go out to eat. The beds are memory foam and are comfortable. All the appliances are new, and the home even had amenities for our dogs! We brought our Halo collars, which worked perfectly, keeping our dogs within the property lines. The view from the dining room is stunning! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay near Custer. It was a beautiful home that had everything we needed and more!

Great Custer house.

Great property with excellent location in Custer. Quiet, relaxing and great proximity to Custer, the park and Black Hill sites. Definitely recommend this property and the host. They really go the extra mile in making it a great stay!

Absolutely Perfect

I couldn’t have found a better place. My husband and I our daughter and her husband and 2 adult sons all stayed. The home was so nicely furnished, perfectly clean, all the amenities you could ask for. Outside was nice with plenty of room for us to have friends over and celebrate a birthday. Played corn hole and ladder toss. Room for football. It was such a great weekend. Definitely worth the money.

Great Custer SD home

What a wonderful updated cabin. Very comfortable, with everything you could want. With a 3 1/2 acre yard, it is very private, yet a little over a mile from town. I’m very impressed. I definitely will utilize this home again.

Great House, Top Notch Location

We had a great time in Custer, attending the Buffalo Round Up and visiting nearby sites. The house is in a great location for all Black Hills festivities. Our host kindly allowed early check in as we had been camping nearby. We had 7 adults and one baby, and the house had plenty of room for all. While the house was clean, there was a fly problem, which probably seemed more predominant because we had a baby. We had to continue to clean these throughout our 3 day stay.

Log house in custor South Dakota

We were very happy with this property and the log house was everything they said it was on line! We were pleasantly surprised on how stocked the house was with everything you needed… the host Arlene was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with ! I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting the custor area… great location to all the parks!

Rest and Relax after Exploring

We stayed in this wonderful home for a few nights while exploring Custer State Park. What a blessing to come "home" to this comfy, clean, beautiful house after busy days outdoors! I highly recommend this home. Easy check in/check out process. Plus, the three season room was perfect to take break and read a book!

We loved our stay here. As other reviews stated it had ton of extras in the house but we were still shocked how stocked the house was including games and kitchen supplies. Our dog loved the house and the nice dog beds. We will make sure to rent this place again on our next stay.

Excellent family stay

This property has room to stretch your legs. Perfect for pets and children to be safe outside. As stated in other reviews, this is the most stocked home, just like you're in your own home. We would love to stay again.

This VRBO has it all!

Our stay was amazing; not only was the property beautiful, but also very clean and upkept. The owners thought of everything from laundry detergent to shampoo to condiments. Being so close to town was a great advantage as we were able to cook breakfast and dinner at the house after a long day of activities. Everyone slept great as the beds were extremely comfortable. Best of all we are heading back after a week of vacation with no laundry as the house had a washer and dryer. Our kids enjoyed playing in the backyard and we enjoyed peaceful mornings on the 3 season porch sipping coffee. If we could come back every year we would!
