Black Hills Beauty

Location was great for access to all the Black Hills sites. Quiet, beautiful location. Great space to relax. We loved our stay here.

This property lived up to its description. It was a very peaceful spot off the main road with plenty of room for the kids to run around. It was close to all the Black Hills activities on our list but was a quiet spot to return to. The cabin itself was well stocked and very comfortable for our family of 5. We liked that the cabin was just about a 5 min drive to Custer, SD with good restaurants and a grocery.

We enjoyed seeing deer and turkeys daily. Needed more chairs around the kitchen table, which the host said they would remedy. The week was very hot so air conditioning did not keep up, but no way to anticipate that. It was quiet and fit our family’s needs very well. I wouldn’t hesitate to go there again.

Great location. Host was quick to get a plumber to repair the washing machine which we needed with the kids. There were two coffee pots but no coffee or supplies, no shampoo or conditioner or body wash provided. It’s best to pick up water for coffee and drinking before you arrive at the house. The three bedrooms and two baths worked great for our family.

A wonderful family escape

We recently stayed here with extended family as we explored the Black Hills and this spot was just heavenly. The house was fully stocked and had plenty of space on the inside, and there was a large yard, fire pit, and even some nearby farm animals to keep our family entertained outside. The location to Custer and tourist attractions was perfect. Would stay here again!

Wonderful Property

It was the perfect property for peace, quiet and relaxation with the family! Super close to Custer for access to an last minute amenities. Really great location as ‘home-base’ with convenient access to all the great parks and hiking SD has to offer.

Great stay, beautiful property, very clean. We are runners and gravel cyclists and loved the area for that. We played games in the big yard and had a few outdoor fires in the fire pit.

Great family stay on our trip to Mount Rushmore and Custer. The kids loved the property. The house was clean and comfortable. Had what we needed.

We enjoyed everything about our visit!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! Quiet and peaceful, but close to everything we wanted to do! The house was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfy and bathrooms spacious! The host was excellent with great communication. Our kids enjoyed the large yard to run around in and spotting local wildlife. Highly recommend and would stay here again if ever in the area! Thank you for a memorable stay!

Great location.

Perfect little house just a few miles from town. Easy short drive into town for food/supplies, but far enough out you have space and privacy. Large yard for kids to run around in and have a fire. Very easy check in, and communication with the host was quick and efficient.

Excellent Lodging

The Little Red Inn is a perfect place to have a large group of family stay and be very comfortable! My brothers and their adult children came for my mom’s 80th birthday celebration. The cabin was close to town, very clean and comfortable! We had a great time making s’mores at the fire pit a few nights. Highly recommend!

Beautiful setting, right by Custer park and scenic drives

Great setting and check in and out. Well-equipped kitchen and lots of room. Master bed seemed to sag a little and freezer sometimes didn’t seal well. Would definitely come back.
