“A fabulous place to stay. We were greeted with a very welcoming pot of coffee after a long journey. We were told of things to do, places to eat but as we were going to a wedding the day after we couldn't do any walking. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable and lovely toiletries were in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was incredible, better than a lot of smart hotels we have stayed in. I would highly recommend Mill Lodge.”

“A very pleasant surprise as a solo guest. Needed an overnight stay for an event in Abergavenny, went with no expectations, just needed a comfortable, clean place and that's what I got. Yes the place needs a bit of tidying up, decorating, updating of furniture but that doesn't bother me as long as everything works for it's purpose which it did. I booked a room at the back with a balcony overlooking the river and the view was wow! On the hottest Bank Holiday for years, I left the French doors...

“The team who served me were helpful and friendly. The guy who checked me in was efficient and really nice, so the procvess was quick but he made me feel very welcome. I had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both.”

“One of times I booked the mirror and surfaces was dirty like the cleaner was dirty. Also me and my partner got banned without a reason and when we booked following time they refused to provide service or provide explanation. Strange people”

“Decent apartment, aimed at long stay I’d guess. Comfy bed No toiletries, would have liked tea, coffee, milk, kitchen roll or something kitchen wise…and a dishwasher rather than a washing machine…but as I say fine for longer stay Also lounge sofa smelt bodyish Good communication though ”

“Es un hotel sencillo en Gales, tiene un restaurante - pub bueno, cuarto amplio y bien iluminado y un parqueadero comodo para el carro. No hay mucho que hacer alrededor si no tienes carro. Queda mas o menos a 1 km del pueblo, en la noche el camino es muy oscuro. En general una buena estadía, el personal mas preocupado por el pub que por el hotel, pero de resto bien.”

“A nice big room with ample parking. In a quiet location just outside the town. No staff on site but a key lock to each room. Spoke to staff on the phone who were very helpful to check everything was ok. ”

“The checking was easy & staff were friendly, The room is up 2 flights of stairs, it is very dated & could do with some tlc. The walls had splatter & marks where something had run down them & the bathroom was dirty in the corner. We couldn't get any hot water from the taps so used the kettle which didn't turn itself off. The toilet seat is so cheep that it bends when you sit on it. although the bedding was clean. The window cill had been burned with a cigarette by the look of it & outside the...

“buena ubicación y desayuno, pero la presión del agua fatal, casi no te podías duchar nos estábamos en la planta 4 y apenas salia agua caliente. El parking es en la calle y sólo hasta las 8:00am, luego te tienes que buscar la vida y quitar el coche de la calle.”
