A gem of a hotel near the Son Tra peninsula with many restaurants and stores nearby. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The area is quiet and the locals welcoming. Great value for the money.

We are a senior couple traveling independently and chose this place for a short rest in Da Nang. The surroundings were calm, the room comfortable, and the evenings felt very peaceful. The staff were gentle and respectful, allowing us to enjoy our time without interruption. It was a simple, restful stop that fit our travel style perfectly.

The Son Tra Sea Hotel is steps away from My Khe Beach. You can also see the Linh Ung Pagoda (Lady Buddha) from your window. There is a nice washroom and drying area in the bottom of the hotel, so you can change before going back upstairs. Laundry service was helpful too. There is no onsite restaurant, because there are plenty of seafood restaurants along the strip. There is a very convenient 24/7 convenience store on the first level beside the hotel. The room was decent in size with good A/C.

The only thing i found skeptical is there are windows above the bed and I was weirded out because I dont know if the staff can see into my room.. definitely a little uncomfortable I dont like the idea of that, I ended up putting a pillow in the window so I can have privacy. The staff was nice. I asked to do laundry there it was too expensive for me. it was 50.000/1kg. The house keeping was very sweet, they dont have do not disturb signs so they would knock and they would leave water bottles and coffee outside. The hallway has an amazing view of the mountain it was my absolute favorite!! There is another thing I didnt like but not the hotels fault/problem, there is a seafood restaurant nextdoor so outside constantly smelled like seafood im not to fond of it lol. Its very quite place to stay. had a problem with the TV not working and they were very sweet and switched it out for us.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the cheaper rooms were gross. Extremely unhealthy as they were so damp and smelt of mould due to no ventilation during the rainy season. There were no windows to open. My room had an integral glass screen that allowed all the corridor lights into the room at night. It was lighter at night than during the day. The more expensive rooms looked better. The area was in the back of beyond. There were eateries within walking distance, but little choice. A Grab (taxi) into town was 80,000 (and 80,000 back).
