Anchors Away- Enjoy our 3bedroom/3bath home on the lake!

  • Welcome to Anchors Away – Your Perfect Lakefront Getaway!

Escape to Anchors Away, a spacious 3-bedroom, 3-bath lakefront retreat, ideal for family fun and relaxation. The main-level master suite offers convenience, while two additional bedrooms upstairs provide plenty of space for guests. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need, and the propane grill on the deck is perfect for cookouts with a view.

Enjoy a variety of indoor and outdoor games, plus two kayaks included with your stay. The storage shed is stocked with extra chairs and floats for lakeside fun. Our flat lot ensures easy access to the water—no stairs required! Gather around the firepit for hotdogs and s’mores under the stars (firewood not included).

The private dock is perfect for tying up your boat or jet skis, and there’s ample boat trailer parking—just be sure to keep vehicles on the stone-covered areas and driveway (no parking on the grass). If you need a rental, Momentum Marine is nearby.
Just 35 minutes from Jordan-Hare Stadium, this is the perfect Auburn game day rental. Whether you're here to cheer on your team, relax by the water, or enjoy lake adventures, Anchors Away is ready to welcome you!

    Important Notes:

We are located on the east side of the Hwy 49 bridge. Some boats may not fit under the bridge—please check with us for details.
We have a boat ramp, but it is very narrow. We recommend launching only jet skis from our ramp.
Seasonal Water Levels: Starting mid-October, the lake level drops 6 feet, shifting the shoreline from the seawall to the end of the floating dock. The water begins rising mid-February and reaches near full levels by early April.

We could not have asked for a better experience. The property is exactly as described. The lake frontage and view are incredible. The house is modern and absolutely adorable; it’s also sparkling clean. The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped and stocked with essentials. The beds are comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Our girls sunbathed from the dock and enjoyed a campfire in the evenings. The lake toys provided are a huge bonus! To note: the commute from Auburn is only 30 minutes. This property is a great option for home football game weekends. We will definitely be back.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful home. My family of 5 as well as my parents stayed for an entire week. The home is lovely, with beautiful views of the water, updated, plenty of seating inside and out, and has every amenity that you can think of. We loved having coffee on the covered porch every morning looking at the amazing water views. The home offers a flat lot and a main floor master, with a walk-in shower that was perfect for my parents who can’t make it up and down stairs easily. There is a dock where we tied our boat. Also that part of the lake is quite, not much traffic from other boats which made kayaking and paddle boarding so nice, and also calmed my nervousness when we were pulling the kids on tubes. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. We can’t wait to come stay here again.

Auburn family Reunion

The location is very peaceful with a beautiful view of the lake. There was plenty of space for our family and the updated decor was very enjoyable. The house is also very close to Auburn so that we were able to travel to the game within a half hour. We will definitely stay here again and bring a boat in the summer!

Great spot of the lake. Loved the home. Perfect for us. The fire pit was a great touch for an evening after being on water all day. Enjoyed the kayaks and the rafts! Dock was perfect for our Mastercraft Xstar.

Peaceful & Updated!

We had a great stay on the lake for Auburn’s Spring Graduation 2023! The house is clean, well decorated, and we took advantage of the fire pit, & more than one of the games- inside and out! The only thing that would’ve made it better, was more time to spend enjoying our extended family time together :) Thanks Brea :)
