It was a very tranquil and refreshing stay. We had such a nice time that our only wish is that we had stayed longer. Everything we needed was right there at the home, from a water boiler for making tea, to fire-starters and dry logs on a rainy day! We lived this little getaway!

Home away from home. Nordic Overlook is cared for properly with all the amenities and comforts. One of the best properties we’ve ever rented. Host was easy to contact for a question or two we had before arriving, and there for us throughout our stay. I highly recommend this sweet little home on the hill!

We had a terrific vacation here. It was quiet and the forest was teeming with the beautiful sounds of nature. It was nicely appointed inside and outside. The driveway is daunting the first time, but after a time or two it is fine.

Hands down the most well thought out rental we have stayed in. Everything you could need plus plenty of extras- like a fully equipped picnic basket! Our favorite part of the stay was drinking coffee fireside while watching deer meander through the forest.

Wonderful mountain retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nordic Overlook. Just the right distance from the college, the wineries, and great hiking locations. Our host was helpful and communicative. We will definitely stay again next time we're visiting UNG.
