Poor experience
We chose this property for the outside amenities mainly, and because it fit the location we wanted. When we arrived check in was easy enough, house was fairly clean. The property owner/manager was very controlling during the approval process with what we could and couldn’t do, on the property, no guests, and stating they will be checking their cameras to ensure. (It’s fine we didn’t care) just weird. Day two into our four day trip, we came home to a fallen tree in the yard (7pm) that took out a main power line causing the house to lose electricity and be unrepairable. The host was very hard to deal with, offered no up front solutions aside from saying their going to send someone out to fix it when they could find someone (not that night) so we were forced to find a new property at 10 pm. After a very unpleasant experience trying to deal with the host, they offered us another place to stay (at 11 pm) but we were already checked into a hotel. Out of good grace they gave us 300 back for half of our trip, out of the 1800 we spent on the four days! :) Wouldn’t recommend dealing with this host. The inevitable happens but how it’s dealt with means it all.
