I rate this property a 1 star. Do NOT rent this home isn’t an emotional response but a factual warning. Will start with the positives- The location was as stated. The count of rooms and bedding was as stated. The inside of the property was clean. The grill functioned. The contributors to my rating-The outside had knee high weeds in the front and the back. The pool and hot tub hadn’t been cleaned in months (according to the pool company that finally arrived - yet the pool would take days to clear). There were stacks of refuse in all corners of the backyard which we cleaned ourselves without any gardening tools). The play structure had rotting boards and exposed nails. The garage door doesn’t work. The garbage disposal didn’t work. The RFIs kept blowing in the master bathroom. I could go on, but the house has not been maintained. I couldn’t get a complete answer from the management company (“Goldnest”) on when the entire place would be operational so we gave up sending them the broken items. We had approx 30 emails and texts back and forth and each time with a prompt response but no action. VRBO responded with a financial gesture which was acceptable based upon their fee. The home and maintenance company gave us a token settlement after much back and forth. They finally wore us down. Do Not Rent this home.
