This house was not what was expected at all. This home is in a great area and that’s the only positive part about our stay. The main issue we had was the AC units not working. The house was stuck at 82-77 upstairs and about 74 downstairs, in the Texas heat, it was a nightmare. We contacted the host and she was less than helpful. She recommended we “google” it and she would try to get the handy man to come by. He only called and said he was busy and that he might stop by later, and never did. We tried to contact the host again, and we didn’t hear from her for the rest of the trip. Secondly, we struggled using the keypad to lock the door when leaving. There was no lock on the key pad and when we reached out to the host, we again were met with no reply. While nice, the house itself needs some TLC. It didn’t seem properly equipped or prepared for guests. The house was somewhat clean but the back yard was a disaster and we weren’t able to use the pool. We were not able to find extra toilet paper and there were hardly any extra towels, so if you plan on having a full house, bring your own towel. The restrooms were low on soap and extra sheets are just balled up and thrown into closets very messily. We were excited and looking forward to our stay in this home and the area but we were extremely let down to say the LEAST.
