    Refuge at the Lake is the ideal place to escape from your busy and hectic everyday life! The house is perfect for families or friends to connect, have fun, relax, and explore! Take it all in and refresh both mind and body while enjoying all the amenities you'd expect and some you didn't even know you needed!

    While close to many local attractions and events for when you feel like getting out, the property is quiet and serene enough to make you feel as though you're hours away from the city.

    The house features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a large fully appointed kitchen, dining area with seating for 12, cozy living room, game room, and spacious screened in outdoor living area with plenty of seating. The patio and the view are what you came for though!

Wonderful Lakeside Getaway

We had a fabulous stay! Beautifully furnished, perfect location, easy access to float in water, nice hot tub, and such a quiet location.

Beautiful home with a very private feel

Amazing communication with the owner. Such a special space to make memories with loved ones. The upstairs bedrooms are gorgeous as well as the backyard and porch area. Highly recommend this property.

Comfortable Stay in Flowermound

My friends and I enjoyed the house. It had everything we needed for our getaway weekend. Beds were comfortable, lots of areas to gather and great outdoor space. Location is great since it is a bit secluded right on the lake.

We were a family of six visiting the area, interested in a scenic place to stay, with access to boating and swimming, and not too far from activities in the DFW area. This home was perfect for us. It's nicely decorated, clean, and laid out well with plenty of space for sleeping, socializing, cooking, eating, and all you could want. Even better is the location: my daughter wanted to be "in the woods" and she thought this was great; but at the same time, Flower Mound's main commercial areas are only 15 minutes away. Our host was very responsive and friendly. We would stay here again, and we recommend it highly!

We had a ministry retreat at the property and it was perfect. We were very happy with the home and enjoyed the view of the lake and access to talking trails along the water.

Texas girls trip

We really enjoyed our stay- the outdoor space is perfect for morning coffee and meals and we enjoyed watching the deer wander by each day. The house had everything we needed. Location is a bit off the beaten path but grocery stores, etc are just a few miles away. We also visited the alpaca farm down the road which was super fun!

The only bad thing about this property was the weather! However, the rain forced us to be inside and enjoy the many areas of congregating as a family from the kitchen to the dining room, screened porch, living room, and gaming table. There are basically two masters (one up the spiral stairs and one downstairs) and plenty of beds for a large gathering. There are just two bathrooms total, however, just to be aware if you have a large group. We would very much stay here again if the need arose. The area of Flower Mound offers a great many options for restaurants, nights out, and things to do. And last but not least, if I only had a boat... : )

Just perfect

Our group enjoyed our stay and we couldn’t ask for a better view. The communication was excellent! The kitchen had everything that we needed and the bonus was the deer that played on the lawn every day. It was delightful!

Daughters birthday & Father’s Day weekend

The house was just as it was described. Lots of room and beautiful views of the lake. We brought our boat to enjoy the lake on Sat! Communication w/ the host was easy. We got to see deer & ducks everyday!

Nice little getaway with great access to the lake and quiet neighborhood. A few items were out (soap and iron) and the property manager swiftly replaced them). Very well stocked with the day to day needs and very responsive host.

Beautiful sunset & home

We loved the beautiful property! It had all the accoutrements even a fun tree swing for the kids. Our only request would be an outlet in the upstairs bathroom near the mirror for hair drying. Thanks!
