Double Booked & Terrible Communication
Unfortunately this was not a good experience. We booked through Vrbo which went great. The owner reached out a couple of days later and said they were upgrading us to the 2 bedroom which I thought by the pictures we already booked. We arrived at the property and another family was there and were given the same code to enter the property. The owners indicated they had cancelled our reservation through Vrbo and booked the other family outside of Vrbo which they did not cancel our reservation as I had already received the "Here are your keys" email from Vrbo confirming my reservation. Not to even mention the other family who left and had to go find another place to stay. The property was not as pictured. We couldn't cook in the "kitchen" space which was smaller than a closet. There was no table to eat at etc. When I complained to the owner and asked for a small refund due to the double booking, the false accommodations and we checked out over 24 hours early they asked for my Venmo information but then never sent a refund. My daughter's softball team comes down to Dalton, GA every year for a big tournament. I will not be booking with these owners ever again.
