“We had a lovely stay overall. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The fairy lights outside were a really nice touch and made the place feel cosy in the evenings. It was also great to find somewhere that welcomed dogs. If you’re travelling with a pet, just keep in mind there’s not a lot of indoor space and no undercover outdoor area, which could make things a little tricky if it’s raining. The property is quite secluded, which is perfect if you’re looking for peace...

“Beautiful property with wonderful hosts who really made us feel at home. It was lovely to see such high-quality local products in the bathroom, as well as the wonderful selection of local jams at breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious, with very generous portions. The fire in the lounge each evening was the perfect way to wind down after a day of hiking and wine tasting. We’re already looking forward to a return trip! “The room was quirky but clean & comfortable, I would stay here again.”

“Motel rooms are a good size, very clean but dated. Front reception was Michael, a great guy and helpful. Great view of the mountains outside of the rooms at the bottom end. I didn't like someone's rubbish in the bin inside my room. Didn't like the small half glass cut open in the bathroom which allowed cold air in. Air con worked perfectly on heat. Bed was hard for me. Bathroom immaculately clean. In the end of the day the price is right.”

“Welcomed with a generous basket of breakfast goodies. Very comfortable bed. Cosy with wood fire. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Quiet. Option to purchase local wines at reception. Good parking outside of cottage.”
