I’ve never left a 1-star review before, but unfortunately, this experience was disappointing to say the least. Due to an unexpected emergency (fire in our area), we had to leave before our scheduled stay. Despite reaching out through both Expedia and directly to the hotel to explain the situation, we received no response or willingness to offer a refund or even a credit toward a future stay. I appreciate that Expedia tried and shared their efforts to repeatedly contact the hotel. Not Expedia’s fault.
The property itself is beautiful, and we were genuinely enjoying our visit, until we had to leave quickly. However, the lack of human consideration during a difficult moment speaks volumes. I understand policies exist for a reason, but a little empathy goes a long way, and sadly, that was missing. Will not attempt to stay at a 4 Sisters Inn again in the future. While emergencies are rare, this facility doesn’t extend care.
