Encantadora casa 4BR 2BA frente al mar con vistas panorámicas en el lago Candlewood

Esta casa 4BR 2BA bellamente amueblada y decorada con buen gusto se encuentra a solo 60 millas de Nueva York en el idílico lago Candlewood. Tres amplios dormitorios y un pequeño dormitorio con dos camas individuales ofrecen cómodas habitaciones para dormir para hasta 8 personas. La cocina comedor actualizada está totalmente equipada con todo lo que necesitará para preparar comidas. Una espaciosa sala familiar con un sofá seccional, una gran mesa de cultivo para 8-12, pantalla plana con cable y dos paredes de ventanas se abre a la terraza amplia y amueblada, completa con una nueva parrilla Weber, mesa de fuego y un jacuzzi para 8 personas. con vista al lago. We had an amazing time at the lake house. As others have mentioned, the house is extremely well stocked. We appreciated the beach towels, kayaks, floaties and fishing poles! Truly everything you could need or want for a summer vacation on the lake. Lisa was very responsive when I needed help finding the pack and play, and about resolving a minor shower issue. You can tell she has been doing this for years and knows how to ensure visitors have a smooth stay.

Gorgeous Lake View

We had a phenomenal time at this property. The view of the lake from the deck (and hot tub) was awesome both during the day and at night. The house is set up with so many activities and different places to sit, relax, and enjoy the setting. Everything is set up well to make the stay a positive experience for guests.

Family Connection

The property was fantastic. We had family staying at another house on the lake and they chose to come to this house every night due to the wonderful views, outdoor setup and shaded area by the lake. The home is great for outdoor entertaining with abundant spaces.

Perfect Getaway

We loved this property so much, we came back! Even in the winter, it’s the perfect cozy getaway. This home has everything you could possibly need and then some. The hosts are very accommodating and Lisa is always a pleasure to communicate with about any questions we have. We would highly recommend this property!

Great Lake House

Great house! The house is fully stocked with everything which was nice. It had a lot of great areas to sit and relax inside and out. There are a decent amount of steps to the water which was fine for us. The host was very accommodating and responsive. I would recommend this house.we had a great time!

Hidden Gem

The home was very nice and quiet and clean. The view was spectacular. A lovely welcome basket when we arrived as well. Bed was comfortable and also had great views of the lake. My favorite part was the jacuzzi tub on back deck. We will definitely be back again in the summer time.

Fantastic week by the lake

We enjoyed a wonderful week of rest and relaxation by the lake. The views are wonderful and the house is well appointed. Much time was spent in the hot tub and on the kayaks. Lots to do in the area and we even managed a day trip to NYC. Communication with the property manager was great and the welcome binder is filled with restaurant recommendations.

Lovely n Peaceful

We were celebrating our Grandsons graduation…stayed 10 days n rented a boat for 3 of them which we were able to dock @ the house…all amenities were there n communication with the agent was excellent… enjoyed the hot tub n spent many evenings enjoying the view… lots of options for eating large group both indoors n out! Kayak fishing gear n games all available…. Great time had by all!

Nice lake house

Great house, very spacious. Liked the hot tub. More steps to water than expected. Not ideal for seniors. Kayaks very old could use some updating. Loved the location because close to restaurants and grocery stores. Really enjoyed our stay.

A fantastic lakeside home from home

The title says it all really. The house is as well equipped as your home, superbly comfortable, has glorious views East over the lake, has space for everyone and was just a delight to stay in. Lisa is so repsonsive, thoughtful and kind, which just adds to the warmth of feeling and quality of experience. Thank you very much indeed.

Great spot

Lovely home, lot of thought into providing amentities like the little gift basket, making paper plates available etc. Hot tub was awesome! Only thing to be aware of is the stairs down to the dock are serious (a lot of them!).

Great house - just not clean

The property is well-located, with beautiful outdoor spaces, and many amenities. It would be a 5 star property if the house had been thoroughly cleaned. There was long-term dirt and dust throughout the house which really diminished the experience.

Fabulous!

Our second stay at this wonderful home on Candlewood Lake. Even better than the first. It truly felt like coming home! We spent the week with our family (including our 9 month old grandson) and a few friends. House was plenty big for the 8 of us. Kitchen, deck, great room…all fabulous. Enjoyed time on the lake, around the fire pit, in the hot tub and in the house. Lisa was so responsive to us whenever we had a question about the house or the lake. Made great memories! Would highly recommend!

Exceptional views from the well appointed deck. The house was cozy, well equipped.

The house was really well equipped and was perfect for gatherings. We utilized all the spaces from the breakfast nook to the warm living room with the fireplace. My only suggestion would be to emphasize just how many steps and how steep they are. Our 82 and 84 year old family members could not possibly get down to the dock - or at least not back up. Other than that, we had an amazing time and but for the stairs we would absolutely go back again.

Awesome.

The home and neighborhood was incredible. If you want to enjoy the water you will need to climb stairs. Not a criticism just a heads up. The only issue I had was with the lighting system. They had unique dimmer system that took some time to figure out.

Delightful House

This house and property are well appointed and very nice in all respects! The family room with the large, glazed overhead door is a great space (we had the door open during the day, and then closed it in the evening for dinner.) The deck overlooking Candlewood Lake has several nice seating areas, hot tub and fire pit. Down at the lake, there is another nice seating area (along with the dock and boat shed.) Everything was labeled with clear instructions for use (fireplace dampers, hot tub, PlayStation, TVs, fire pit, grill, light switches … everything.) It’s also very close to Costco and other shopping in Danbury. I hope to return soon.

Bats in the house

We ran into many issues unfortunately . The dishwasher was broken this house was being sold and they had an issue during home inspection it should have been replaced taken out and shoved back in did not work and that caused a leak in the sink so water drained all over the kitchen floor. Definitely an issue with baths you can hear them in the rafters and one got in the house also 130 stairs to get to the water . Too bad as it is a cute house decorated nicely . NEEDS to have REPAIRS Made before you allow it to be rebooked.
