Everyone said this was an amazing find. We gather mostly around food, so the large dining area was crucial. But there was so much more to do- inside and out. The whether even cooperated so guests took advantage of wood walks, Letchworth and the play equipment. Looking forward to gathering another time in summer when we can take advantage of the pool and pond.

We stayed here for a long weekend with 9 adults and 11 kids, and it was absolutely perfect! The property was beautiful, spacious, and very well-maintained — everything was spotless and exactly as described. The kids had a blast exploring the trails and running around the open space, while the adults enjoyed relaxing and taking in the peaceful surroundings. It was the ideal setting for our group to unwind, connect, and make lasting memories. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely come back again!

This was one of the best vrbo houses we have stayed at. We are a group of 13 women relatives and we have been gathering once a year for 13 years. Tonys' house was clean, roomy, comfortable and beautiful! there were lots of instruction sheets near things like Wifi, AC, kitchen and doors. These made things easy to use. We loved using the pool, especially since it was 95 degrees some days. We will be planning a return trip in the near future. Thanks Tony for the great place.

Great time away with friends!

We had a really good time at the house! The house was amazing, spacious, and clean. We loved having the two long dining tables for a large group of us to eat, and made a lot of memories playing games in the living room. We would have loved to use the outside accommodations more if it weren't for the rain (such as the fire pit, grill, outside tables). Communication with our host was great! He was prompt, available for any questions/issues/needs, and was very pleasant and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this place to my friends, and hope to use it again in the future!

Perfect escape for a family getaway

The house is absolutely gorgeous and spacious. The game room is fun for all ages. The view off the back deck is peaceful. Tony and Michelle were very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

THE BEST WEEKEND!!!

This property is absolutely STUNNING!!! The managers of the property are amazing, we truly had the best time and our friends loved the place as well! We're so grateful to all be together again and being able to stay at this location together made our dreams come true. The rooms were great and comfortable, scenery was breath taking, all the amenities were lovely to have and just the environment was perfect! We will definitely be back! Thank you again!

Excellent accommodations, very responsive and friendly owners

Our entire family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Redmond Chalet. The kids loved the pool and hot tub and the adults enjoyed the various relaxation spots on the property from the deck to the fire pit. We only wish it were a bit closer to Letchworth State Park where we were having a family wedding but other than that we'd highly recommend this rental. We'd return for sure if the occasion arises.

Four generations

We were a group of 9 adults and 4 kids, spanning 4 generations, from my 93-year-old mother to the youngest grandchild, who is 7. This was our second stay at the Redmond Chalet. Last year it was under different management, through whom we had previously rented a different property. Truthfully, we had not been happy with that agency for a variety of reasons, but it is difficult to find a property that can accommodate our large group, particularly with my mother's special needs, which is the only reason we rented from them a second time. I am happy to say Apex was excellent. Tony was at the property when we arrived, finishing up adding water to the pool after having fixed a leak. He was apologetic for still being there; no apology needed! We were grateful the leak had been fixed. He also was prompt to answer a couple questions I texted him with. I would not hesitate to recommend Apex in general, or this property specifically. It is particularly difficult to find a place that has a large enough eating area that we can all sit down to eat together. The pool, the hot tub, the three large refrigerators, the gorgeous view ... My one complaint is we only had a week, and it went way too fast!

Girl’s Getaway at its best

It’s our third year at The Redmond House and it’s the perfect place for a relaxing, private getaway. The house has everything you need for gathering, entertaining, relaxing and enjoying time with friends or family. The size and layout works perfectly. The view is beautiful and relaxing. You can walk the trails on the property for a little exploring. Michelle and Tony, the new owners of this incredible place are easy to work with.

Eclipse Viewing Reunion

Since the area was in the “path of totality” for the April 8th 2024 viewing of the eclipse, we invited friends from California, Boston, Florida and Kentucky to join us for an Eclipse Viewing Reunion. The house was PERFECT! It had several indoor gathering living spaces, two dining tables, plenty of bedrooms, a great outdoor fire pit, beautiful views of the rolling hills, a well stocked kitchen and an abundance of clean linens. It was perfect for our very picky friends; however, one observation from the group is that if the house was filled to capacity, a 4th bathroom downstairs might be helpful. We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home.

Ideal Location for a Three-Generations Celebration

I can't say enough about this amazing vacation home, which was the perfect gathering place for three generations to celebrate the matriarch's 85th birthday. Ranging in age from 15-85, all loved how spacious yet cozy the home was. Plenty of room to gather together, as well as to spread out. Our stay was over a cold and crummy weekend in March, yet all were content never leaving the house. Most impressive is how attentive the owners are. Responses to questions were received in mere minutes, and all helpful and friendly guidance. We look forward to the next opportunity to rent from Apex Vacations!

Great time

We had 10 adults and 4 children ages 2-13, everyone had plenty of room and their own bed. Lots of space to sit and eat or play games. The game room was a hit with the kids! We enjoyed the fire pit (bring your own wood) and the hottub. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. 2 smart TVs to sign in to apps and watch movies/shows. We had a wonderful 4 days together with family!
